Sorry, think I should of posted in hardware gpu forum, devs feel free to move this, sorry. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk -
Yes you are quite right, I now have tacpack manager set so every time I launch fsx it asks if I want to run that module, if I don't intend to fly the vrs superbug I don't say yes to tacpack running. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk

Hi all, I have ordered an evga gtx 780 classified today, I currently have an msi 6970, I would like advice on un installing all amd gpu drivers/software and the correct way to install nvidia drivers/software and how to set up the nvidia for best fsx results. Thanks. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk

I have tried it with tacpack disabled and it stalled completely normally. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk

Well if I pushed the stick any further forward I would of gone upside down. As I said the stall was forced by me, the nose dipped, I pyshed the stick forward, airspeed increased rapidly on the asi, but the stall buzzer didn't stop, I kept the stick forward airspeed hit 180 knots, still the buzzer was sounding, I pulled out of the dive and levelled out, buzzer still sounding, pyshed forward again pulled out again at around 100 feet, airplane still refused to fly and hit the ground, I had 5000 feet to play with from the start of the exercise. Well I let the nose drop as you would to recover from a stall, once I had got above the blue line on the asi I pulled the stick back, the aircraft leveled off but the stall siren stayed on, I had full power on the engines, I tried dropping the nose some more and letting the airspeed increase even more and still the siren stayed on, the aircraft behaved as if it was in a flat stall and eventually hit the ground. I've never experienced this before in any fsx aircraft, on my powered hang glider I have performed full stalls for jollies and stalled wing overs so I am well versed in stall recovery.

Xame across another odd thing, I deliberately stalled the aircraft, it nose dived and regained normal flying speed but as far as fsx was concerned it stayed stalled all the way to the ground, even though my airspeed was saying 180 asi. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk

I tried the simplest suggestion first which was to go into the duke settings interface and un check keep virtual cockpit loaded in memory, I have since had 3 short flights without any click spot issues, I need to find time to do a longer flight to see if that has cured my issue. ok, will do.

Yep I also get the click spot dropping out issue, I don't have ezdok or any add on guages installed. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk

I'm pleased amd appear to of listened and released an updated driver, I still feel the 780 price is going to cone down a little more, so I'm waiting for it to happen, I haven't purchased a gpu for a few years now, the last one was a 5870 which failed just before its 2 year warranty and I got the 6970 as a replacement, I still feel fsx works better with nvidia and the 780 is a very impressive card. How can I get rid of the parking brake problem!
sleightflight replied to Leafhopper's topic in MS FSX | FSX-SE Forum
Go through all the joystick settings for the peddles & delete all of the non peddle joystick assignments making sure peddles are in the drop down box, then select your flught stick/yoke & delete all joystick assignments that are for your toe brakes & rudder, try the sim again , then if its still playing up go back and , if you have the boxes ticked to reverse, un tick them or if they are not ticked tick them , trying each option, only plane I have any problem with is concorde x as I can't get the brakes to release with that one.
