new LPMA madeira
LPMA is my home airport and this is an absolutely beautiful scenery, finally glad to move on from Amsim. However, once installed it seems to make pushback tugs disappear in the entire sim, in every airport. Have notified the developer about this possible bug, waiting for feedback.

Fenix A320 V2B2-2.2.0.334 - Manual ZFW and EFB problem
Had the exact same thing happen yesterday with the 321, registering about a tonne less than my input. I thought it might have had something to do with using a specific ZFW in Simbrief instead of pax figures (as I normally do) but it seems there might be an issue with this build.

Interesting new tidbits from FSL (Flight Sim Labs)
I bought the entire 32F family for P3D and despite being somewhat pricey, I've never regretted it. They were fabulous aircraft and some of my favourite addons. That said, if they released them for MSFS now, I don't think I would make the investment as I am very happy with the Fenix. On the other hand, a neo variant (especially a 321) would be an instant purchase, as I don't find any of the current offerings interesting. That said, the whole tone of the thread is a bit disconcerting. Yes, they certainly seem to be trying (in their very own way) to get closer to the customer, but the way they speak about their NDAs and their development process, one might think they are developing some revolutionary ultra secret weapon or a new miracle medicine instead of an addon for a home sim. And on top of that, they seem to view everyone as just too dumb to understand the "brilliance" of their strategy. If we don't consider the issue of deadlines (a very delicate topic in the sim community), has open communication ever harmed a developer in any way? To sum it up, as a prospective paying customer, the whole discourse just comes off as a bit too self-important and condescending.

An introduction to the Fenix A319 & A321 Expansion - Fenix
This is actually interesting information presented in an appealing way, not like his meandering, pointless, self-congratulatory word salads.

Fenix A321 Screenshot from the discord
Absolutely right, plus it's fun planning and carrying out full flights in the 321 when you have to play close attention to performance and underload. The A319 on the other hand allows you to go into fun places like Florence, Antwerp or San Sebastian...

Did the PMDG 777-300ER Get Pushback Implemented Yet?
Worked. Broken after the SU15, both this and the payware Aerosoft version. Aerosoft is currently trying to fix the issue: Toolbar Pushback SU15 Issues - Support - AEROSOFT COMMUNITY SERVICES Hope they fix it soon, it was a really nice tool.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 Development Update - Live
I really wish there was an option (desktop app or similar) that we could access the Marketplace without launching the sim.

Genuis Jorg Neumann, the biggest name in Flight sim history
I've been simming for 20+ years. I started with FS98, then went in deeper with FS9. I skipped FSX altogether, then jumped straight into P3Dv4, and was amazed at what it could do and how it looked. When the first previews of MSFS came along, I found them spectacular, but was skeptical and cautious of how it would really work in terms of performance and gameplay. I ended up buying MSFS the week the Fenix was released. I took this step as a cautious approach, as I was pretty content with P3D and had a serious investment in terms of addons. The result? From the first day I launched MSFS I don't think I ever launched P3D again - that's how impactful the experience was for me. In the flight sim communities we have an unhealthy habit of focusing on the negative. Yes, some updates have been worse than expected, ATC still needs lots of work and some other things. But we forget many amazing things about MSFS - how good it runs out of the box (gone is the endless tweaking, unless you have unreal expectations regarding your rig), how good it looks, how it made scenery development and aircraft painting easier, leading to a huge boost in development, and many other things. And MSFS2024 seems to be a step in the right direction, improving many things So yes, Jorg and his team deserve praise - not only have they been developing a fabulous sim, they have been balancing that with keeping it profitable so that MS keeps its resources behind it. And that is essential if we want it to keep growing, it needs to be successful, not gatekeeping and becoming a niche hobby. In that respect, I think they have been doing great work.

Lossless Scaling settings...
With RTX 3080 - DX11, monitor refresh rate 120 Hz, FPS locked at 40 with RTSS, in-sim refresh rate set to 33%, within LSFG, scaling factor 2x and vsync enabled. Huge difference with the Fenix, which was my most critical addon - panning extremely smooth and stutters pretty much gone.

Ultimate Smoothness at Modest Frame Rates
@Noel I have to thank you for sharing the original info on this thread. I have followed your advice, and it does make a huge difference. I have experimented with several V-Sync settings, frame caps, etc with fairly good results, but the smoothness you get from this RTSS + NCP setup is on another level, everything just feels more... fluid. With developer mode active, I noticed the CPU load is lower than it's ever been, even on Ultra (I normally use High-end) and it seems to work well either on TAA or DLSS/DLAA. Also, it does work on a Freesync monitor with a NVIDIA card + G-Sync enabled, as is my case. Thank you for sharing this!

Ultimate Smoothness at Modest Frame Rates
I've been trying to avoid tweaking with MSFS, and generally speaking am happy with performance and looks. The only thing still nagging me is some stuttering on large airports with lots of traffic (using FSLTL) so I'm going to try this.

PSS 757 - Help with FPS spikes and stutters
Hi everyone I have the PSS 757 (bought from Just Flight as 757 Professional) and have decided to reinstall it after a few years without using it. Everything works fine, except for a small detail: every few seconds, my FPS "spike" down - I'm locked at 60 and they go down to 50. This doesn't seem much, but it's enough to cause a noticeable stutter which is very annoying. I've tried with lower fps locks, but the same happens (40 going to 30, etc). I searched around for similar problems and fixes (removing the VC, lower EFIS settings, etc) but having tried them there is no change, so I'm assuming they're not causing the problem. Also, the spikes happen in every view, inside or outside. Has anyone had and was able to fix this problem, or might otherwise suggest an approach to fixing this? Running FS9 (of course ) in Win 7 64-bit, ATI 5870 card, latest FSUIPC and AIRAC cycle. Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers Antonio

SkySpirit2010 767 - how to apply registration above cockpit?
Hi there I've been working on a repaint of the SkySpirit2010 767 for FS9 and apparently a registration can be applied above the cockpit windows using the OS767Option2.bmp file and corresponding alpha. Despite several attempts though, I haven't been able to make this texture visible yet. From what I've read, the visibility of this file in the FSX version is controlled via an .xml file, however this doesn't apply in FS9. Can anyone help me with the correct way to make this texture visible in the FS9 model? Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers.

Best Regards- Help with ISG and LNAV issues please
Hi everyoneFirst of all, my thanks and congratulations to all of those who have developed this wonderful aircraft. Not only is it a delight to fly, it's also a great change from the more "mainstream" FS offers around. Although new to it, it certainly has won me over ;)I do need help with an issue: I have version 1.40 correctly installed with all the upgrades as per the instructions. I also have the ISG suite installed and want to use the Smiths FMCcoupled with the SP-177 but I am having some issues. Despite many attempts, I can't seem to get the LNAV to engage. I know there have been some issues from what I have read in the forums, and I have tried all solutions given but to no avail. I am using the SP177 .with ISG and TCAS .cfg, I have activated the ISG in the TM.ini file as well as in the title line of the aircraft.cfg.However when flying I can never get the autopilot to follow the active flight plan waypoints. Sometimes when choosing the LNAV option with the FD activated and NAV selected in the RAD/NAV button, the FD bars seem to move in the correct direction, but the aircraft does not follow :sad:Has anyone had this problem? Could something in my installation / configuration be wrong? Or am I using the autopilot incorrectly? Any help would be much appreciated.ThanksAntonio - Jetlantic VA - New bases in Italy
