Do I need to uninstall my 777 before I install the latest version? Or can I simply run over the top of the existing version?

Sad to hear. I was hoping by changing the values I might of seen a more realistic behavior.

I just realized that my max weight and empty weight values for virtually all of my AI planes are way too light. For instance, my Fruit Stand A330-300 has an empty weight value of only 103,170 pounds. Could this error be the reason AI planes seem to have such incredible stopping and takeoff power? I want to go in and change all the planes to the correct RW weights, but will changing the values cause any harm to their behavior? I just looked at the A380 and its empty weight is only 287,500lbs.

Yeah its a fun approach I used to fly in and out of all the time. Oh well guess I'll pull out my old charts and plan my flight from Lima by hand, should be fun simulating an FMC failure, sort of.

I cant the runways to show up in the FMC, just the airport.

Does anyone know how to create or have the Navdata for the old Quito Airport? Since I still have the excellent Quito scenery from Borisforero I would love to fly in and out of it with my PMDG birds.

I purchased Flightbeam's KSFO, KDEN and KPHX and all I can say is wow!!! The new Hong Kong from Taxi 2 Gate is well done too. I have so many add on airports I cant recall them all. Just activate the ones you are using for that flight, cuts load times for me. Still waiting for ZBAA though.

Flytampa Dubai, Tampa, Vienna and St. Marteen and Kai Tak 3. Taxi 2 Gate Manilla and Orlando 4. LatinVFR Miami ( Although it seems a little framerate heavy) 5. Aerosoft Mega Airports EHAM, ESSA, LEBL EFHK and ENGM.

The 300ER has a maximum range of 7,825 NM at maximum payload according to Boeing.In topcat, the flight distance is 7,300NM, so you're right at the edge. Does FPXP take step climbs into account for increased fuel efficiency? I would bet there is no cargo on the flight, just baggage and or it is not filled to max passenger capacity.

Tampa International is excellent as well.

Okay I found the problem. Around the same time I purchased GSX I also installed a new printer and after using the process of elimination, I decided to uninstall the printer software to see if that would work. Surprisingly, I haven't had a single black screen event since removing it. So after a FSX reinstall, new video card, removing overclocks and checking hardware settings, it was something as simple as a printer driver. Can you IT guys out there offer an explanation? Thanks Brian, I'll try that too. I just removed the overclock from my processor and setting the sliders low. Man this FSX thing lol..but we love it!

Okay thanks. I will look into it. I also read somewhere FSdreamteam products can do this too and I recently installed GSX. I just ran an update that replaced some DLLs so maybe that was the culprit. I've never had memory issues before and my sliders are set at mid level except the scenery radius but I'll mess with those too. It happens with default and PMDG aircraft also.

For the last couple of weeks I my FSX is going to a black screen without any warnings. Its strange because I can still hear sounds and get back into the sim but its getting annoying. I updated drivers, did a CFG rebuild, even purchased a new video card after reinstalling fsx. I'm trying to avoid a total uninstall but I've run out of suspects. Thanks,

I looked, and that file you mentioned is not on my computer. The mesh I have is in three parts, its called FS genesis EU/ Africa mesh, Asia Mesh and West Mesh.

I recently purchased Madeira from aerosoft but I can not use the airport because it is sitting way too low. My plane seems to be sitting on a plateau that is several hundred feet high. I have FS Genesis world mesh installed, could that be the culprit? If so, which files do I need to delete.

I had the same issue because I tried to alter the aircraft registration in the plane select menu. Leave it as is and it should be fine. PMDG said the software needs those numbers in order to properly run the program. Hope that helps.
