  1. Thanks for the info! I really appreciate it!
  2. Wow, thanks for the info and the quick reply! Can't wait to start up an AS flight once I get home! Two things, 1) What does EFAH stand for? 2) Forgot to ask, but what altitudes the landing lights come on/off? 10,000ft, or 18,000ft?I know some airlines have different procedures on that... Again, thanks so much for the help! I (And I'm sure others) really appreciate it!
  3. Sorry for brining up an old thread, but I have some questions in regards to Alaska. 1) How is the ignition source side determined? Is it on the right side for the first flight of the day, and then the left side? Or is it right side inbound to a hub, and left side outbound? Or something different? 2) What is the average Cost Index for the flights? I know they vary, but if you had to guess an average, what would it be? 3) BARO Minimums. How is it used? Is it set to acceleration altitude on departure? (Like SWA), and on visual approach, how is it set? Is it set to the TDZE (Like SWA, again), or something different? 4) I know that acceleration altitude can vary, but what is the normal? 1000'AFE, or 1500' AFE? 5) De-Rates/Reduced Take-Offs and Climbs. Are reduced take-offs, and climbs used? What about de-rates? 6) Also, one final question in regards to the hud. Is it required for take-offs (such as American), or only required when visibility is 1/2SM or less (Like Southwest)? Or something different? Thanks so much for the input!
  4. You're probably referring to the Zone Temp lights. The corrective action is temperature selectors to full cold, and press the Trip Reset button, which is located by the pack switches.
  5. Can anyone explain to me how to blank out certain windows? I'm painting a -600 BBJ, and the real-airplane I'm basing this off of is an A318 Elite. Some of the windows are blanked out, so I'd like to do the same. Anybody know how to do this?
  6. Submit a ticket, and PMDG will send you the file.
  7. Happened to me after installing another add-on (can't remember what) and I uninstalled the add-on, then the NGX, then reinstalled the add-on, and the NGX after, and that worked.
  8. Look up True Airspeed, and I'm sure you can find good stuff about it on the net. With airliners, dispatch software takes into account cost index, winds aloft, temperature, cruising altitude, and some other stuff to calculate the flights TAS. When PFPX comes out, I'm sure you'll have an accurate route TAS calculator to use.
  9. Steve, From your shots, the bare metal looks great! I don't see anything wrong with it. Can't download it now, as I'm reinstalling FSX at the moment.
  10. You shouldn't need to mess with the blue...Chris Hicks received an exact RGB, and the files are already in the AVSIM library.
  11. Please write in coherent sentences, and sign your name to your post. Make sure you have entered all of your weights correctly, that should help.
  12. +1, I had to take a break from the Ford Hybrid. Haven't worked on it for over a week because of this reason! It is so frustrating.
  13. Did you see if there is an ALPHA layer? If there is one, that might be it.
  14. Thanks for the video reference, I hadn't seen it. I was thinking of a purely visual thing, with no performance data or different flight model than the regular -600.
  15. - 600 Winglets! - ACARS printer, where I can pull up METARS/Dispatch info (Off/In times) and select print on the CDU, and it will print out of my printer! - Painkit where, if the paint line up in photoshop, it will line up on the model! No more trial and error!
  16. I wasn't saying that it was real - I know its not, but I thought it would be kinda cool and interesting to add it on - something for like 10 or 15 bucks, you get a -600 winglets visual model, and it could be some extra pocket change for PMDG, since I assume that its not that difficult to add winglets to a 3D visual model.
  17. I did some searching, but found nothing related to this topic. I think it would be pretty cool for PMDG to create a visual model 737-600 with winglets. It would be fictional, but I know the -600 looks pretty awesome with winglets! (The posky model does). It could be a paid visual model extension, similar to the 747-8i/F. I think that there is a pretty big -600 fan base here, bigger than in the real-world. Just a suggestion, and I would love to see it!
  18. Steve, If you're able to get the bare metal looking good (From the photos, I think it already does!) maybe you can come up with an American -600 & -700. Just a thought.
  19. Chris, thanks so much for Lone Star One! I can't wait to fly it!
  20. Steve, I can't thank you enough! I got the lines to be the correct sizes, but it seems as though the model distorts them. I'm currently tweaking with that, but my lines are already a million times better than they were. I'm hoping to finish this paint off tomorrow.
  21. I've been working on the following repaint (my first) for literally a few months. I just can't seem to get the lines to line up correctly. I know its mainly a trial and error type of thing, but I've tried literally at least 150 times. I would really appreciate any help. I'd like to send anybody interested the fuselage master, so they can try to correct it. Please pm me if you are interested. I'd really appreciate it!
  22. I'm pretty sure (don't quote me on this) at Southwest, that you only arm VNAV on the ground if you are flying an RNAV departure (e.g., BOACH2 out of LAS). Other than that, VNAV shouldn't be engaged until the flaps are completely retracted, which occurs above 1000ft AFE.
  23. Sounds like the Dome light. Center of the Upper overhead panel.
  24. Thanks Chris! I noticed you updated the reg to 969, WN's newest! Excellent!
