  1. Just referring to thin skinned folks there big guy.
  2. The fact that folks get all bent out of shape because someone disliked their post blows my mind. You should really not go out in the world if your skin is that thin. Heck, even certain people who run this site have skin that thin. It's really quite sad.
  3. Yes! Great job on making the airport BIG! :-)
  4. vPilot was not designed to be an FSINN replacement. It was designed by someone who has given the community many innovative programs for FREE! He never intended for this to be everything. He designed it to WORK and work without the need for an IT degree to connect to VATSIM, which is accomplishes marvelously. If you like FSINN and it works for you, great! If you are looking for something that works simply and also works with P3D then you can't go wrong with vPilot.
  5. It's manual as far as I know Rob. However, if you already have the SimConnect.xml file in your FSX appdata directory, you can simply copy it over to the Prepar3D appdata directory. Here's my SimConnect.xml file for reference (the Address can be the PC name or IP address): <?xml version="1.0" encoding="Windows-1252"?> <SimBase.Document Type="SimConnect" version="1,0"> <Descr>SimConnect Server Configuration</Descr> <Filename>SimConnect.xml</Filename> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <!-- Example Global (remote) IPv4 Server Configuration--> <SimConnect.Comm> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <Protocol>IPv4</Protocol> <Scope>global</Scope> <MaxClients>64</MaxClients> <Address>i7</Address> <Port>500</Port> </SimConnect.Comm> <!-- Example Local IPv4 Server Configuration--> <SimConnect.Comm> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <Protocol>IPv4</Protocol> <Scope>local</Scope> <MaxClients>64</MaxClients> <Address>127.0.0.1</Address> <Port>REPLACE_WITH_PORT_NUMBER</Port> </SimConnect.Comm> </SimBase.Document>
  6. I had the same problem after installing P3D v2.2. It was user error though as I forgot the simmconnect files wouldn't be where they belonged after the install. Be sure you have the SimConnect.xml file in your Appdata/roaming/lockheed martin/Prepar3d folder and it's configured properly.
  7. Thank you sir. I just figured it out as you were posting... definitely an improvement.
  8. Hey Dave, what files am I looking for to do the same? Or would you be willing to share your aircraft.cfg section with this window info?
  9. I deleted the Prepar3D profile after the install. Global profile is set as you describe.
  10. Exactly! The profile is completely deleted and that's what I get with 8x on a 770 GTX 4GB card. Just did a clean install of the latest "official" drivers as well, but regardless P3D as always looked like this unless I fiddle with AA in Inspector.
  11. That picture actually is with P3D at it's best. I just took off from KIAD and the cloud shadows edge was a massive jaggie edge, along with the gate lines. There is no way I can fly this without an NI profile. OH and P.S. I wonder if some of the people saying they don't need or use a profile have a default profile setup that is actually assisting? I ask because even with supersampling and 4xS AA going on in the background my frames are the same as without using a profile. I wonder if they have some extra AA going on in that they aren't even aware of. Yeah... here ya go... tell me that's some awesome default 8x AA here! ;-0
  12. Here you go... No Inspector profile (completely deleted it) and look at the wonderful jaggies. Yep, that with 9x MSAA and 16x AF.
  13. Wish mine looked like that without NI profile. Mine's not even close to that with one. Once I'm done with this flight I'll give you a comparison shot.
  14. Coming from someone who just did the same - - post a misleading post, or at best a very optimistic view based on one person's experience. How can you speak for everyone else like that without being misleading yourself? FYI, I HAVE to tweak it using NVIDIA Inspector or it's a jaggy mess, using 8x MSAA.
  15. How can you fly without a profile? It's a jaggy ugly mess without some Supersampling in the profiler. And yes, I'm using 8x MSAA.
  16. Clean install here and I now have stutters where I never did before... GREAT!
  17. I used to be able to fly the 777 without problems. Now as soon as I'm in the takeoff roll and hit 80 knots, FSX locks up with the spinning mouse curser. Every single takeoff! Re-install did nothing to fix it either.
  18. Just installed the patch and everything works as advertised here...
  19. I know you are just having fun, but it's really simple if you want a real answer. You look out the window and find the airport. It's how any pilot first learns how to fly. Now that was probably more serious than you wanted, so back to your fun. ;-)
  20. I install them with the migration tool. Just have to disable the object flow to avoid that error.
  21. My worst "Flightsim" payware of 2013 was the awesome goodliness that I didn't buy! I love love!
