  1. Hi everyone Ok .. well I have an interesting one on this Brand new computer system with just Win 10 and P3D v4 on it I have downloaded the PMDG NGX and it installed fine into the simulator ... BUT .. just like others the Operations Center wasn't there ... I looked in the usual location Program files (x86) and I did find the folder 'Operations Center' .... After opening it everything looked fine so I sent the application icon to the desktop for ease of use I then double clicked on it and it opened correctly ..... I went on to install some liveries and everything looked good with the green bar next to the aircraft saying 'installed' I then opened P3D v4 and selected the PMDG 737 and guess what!! .... Only the house liveries are there I went back into the Operations Center just to check the livery installations and it said they were installed but alas they aren't This is very odd ..... any ideas would be well appreciated Regards Paul
  2. Hi Mike Hmmm yes maybe I was so I do apologise for that .... I am finding Littlenavmap really good so I am going to stick with it .... does everything I want .... Paul
  3. Blimey!!! I fly spanning the sim over 3 x 26" screens and 1 x 24" for moving maps etc etc and I only use 1 x GTX1070 and it flies very smoothly indeed with many sliders cranked well over to the right
  4. With most things it's process of elimination ... Does this happen if you select a default aircraft such as the Carenado A36 Bonanza? Paul
  5. I tried what Steve suggested and to a degree I have had some success (Thank you for that Steve .. it is well appreciated) I spread the load over powered hubs and even used USB connections built into my screens ( I used 4 screens) ... but it is still flaky and temperamental Maybe I should look at the 'Interface Tool' .. is this payware software? Paul
  6. All of this 'tweaking things' reminds me of Graphic Equalisers that were so prevalent in Hi-Fi stacks back in the 70's I could never understand why people bothered with them .... Bands and singers spend thousand and thousands of pounds/dollars on sound engineers trying to get the perfect sound on their records only for them to be tweaked and altered by so called audiophiles This is 'sort of' similar Paul
  7. Ahh that is true ... looks like I'll be hooking up another PC then
  8. I am running it on a 2nd Screen Ray so that isn't a problem for me ... it's the sound muting that is the only issue ... as I say .... I did see a way around it via something built into P3D ..... Otherwise yes ... I'll hook another PC up or .. hmmmmm I wonder if it is available as an app on my ipad??
  9. Thanks for the link Ray and a huge thread it is I wanted to know about the sound muting when you start clicking on LittleNavmap but it looks like there is a way of stopping that with a feature in P3D .... I'll take a look in the morning .....
  10. That is look great Chock .... I have managed to install three liveries without any hassle ...... with me being in the UK the liveries are for British Airways .... EasyJet .... and Ryanair ... All look fantastic :) I managed to put the IFly 737 through it's paces today and I must say I have warmed to it nicely ...... I love the very fact that my MCP PRO works straight out of the box ... something the PMDG 737 lacks
  11. Good idea ... me being lazy here .. do you have a link to that thread please?
  12. Hi Ray I think you are still on P3D version 3 if I am correct? Well I am pleased to say it is working top notch in P3D V4 ..... As you say ..... a great find :)
  13. Well .. I have downloaded LittleNavmap and first impressions are very good indeed Just completing a flight from Gatwick down to Nice and it's behaving itself very nicely indeed ... I am impressed :)
  14. I installed this into P3D v4 ... It worked beautifully well for the first day .... Booted my system up yesterday and no connectivity and interaction at all with P3D v4 .... The map is stuck at Cambridge in the UK (where I landed the day before) ... I have tried everything to get it going .... Tried to run the manual ... doesn't initiate .. looked on their website for the manual .. couldn't find it ... so I decide ok .. I'll uninstall it from my system ... and guess what ..... No uninstaller ...... Avoid this one Ray unless others can prove me wrong Paul
  15. Hi .... Are there any certified P3D v4 liveries for IFly's 737? If not .. has anyone had any issues with installing the liveries which are available for FSX? Cheers Paul
  16. Because Rex 4 Texture Direct and Soft Clouds aren't ready for P3D v4 yet I decided to activate the textures within ASCA ..... something I wouldn't of done if Rex was ready .... and I must say I am very impressed!! Rex need to get their skates on otherwise more people might be tempted to do this!!
  17. Hi everyone Ever since I upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 I have never successfully been able to get my GoFlight modules to work consistently ... well apart from my MCP Pro which doesn't seem to have an issue Yes ... I have tried everything suggested ..... USB Power management software ..... Plug into USB 2.0 and not USB3.0 ... Turn off USB3.0 support in the Bios ... use powered USB hubs ... the list in endless but still no joy!! I have just updated my Win 10 to the 'Creators Edition' and thought hmmmm this might be the answer ..... but guess what ... They still do not work!! I am running Prepar3D V4 and I am at a complete loss ..... disillusioned is an understatement These modules are not cheap and I think it is dreadful that there doesn't seem to be a definitive answer to this problem ... it's not as if WIndows 10 is new and untested .. it's been around quite a few years now!! I wonder how on earth GoFlight as a company stays in business or maybe it's just me with the problem .... but somehow I don't think that is the case! I would appreciate other peoples views and input on this Cheers Paul
  18. Hi Eric I took advantage of the 50% off coupon but I know exactly what you mean re: VC graphics ... not a patch on the PMDG version Maybe IFly might take note and improve on this and make it an upgrade patch further down the road!!! What I do like though is that my GoFlight MCP Pro works straight out the box ..... Yeah I know Pollypot software should sort the issue out with PMDG but I find it pathetic in this day and age that two 'expensive' professional products ... i.e PMDG and GoFlight won't play together nicely from the onset!! Paul
  19. Hi Chock Thank you for that ..... I will download it later and let you know .... Cheers Paul
  20. Hi Steve I am a numpty .. I realised this after I posted my message ... but thank you for confirming .... All downloaded and installed ... I think I might need to get a hotfix which was released yesterday though Cheers Paul
  21. Hi Everyone Well I clicked on the link at Flight1's website to download the coupon ... once it had downloaded I couldn't find a program on my PC to open it with .. I tried Adobe Reader and MS Word but it wasn't having any of it ... Any ideas? Cheers Paul
  22. For what it's worth .. I installed the Turbine the normal way by pointing it to the P3D v4 folder and everything went in fine
  23. Hi Doug Where is the sound ini file located ..... I am flying the Turbine not the B60 .. is it slightly different? Paul
  24. Hi everyone Having now got the sounds back in the cockpit I am finding them a bit on the loud side e.g flaps/landing gear .... (never pleasing some people is there haha) I have tried altering the cockpit and environment sounds down within P3D v4 but sadly it doesn't change anything ... Are there values that can be altered within the config file? Cheers Paul
