I have just read the entire contents to date of this thread and I haven't stopped chucking to myself Everybody moaning about the download speeds being pretty awful DOESN'T EVERYONE REALISE THE WORLD AND ITS MOTHER ARE ON THE INTERNET AT THE MOMENT!! There is a pandemic going on out there so its pretty obvious things are going to be VERY slow 😳

An interesting read and thread Gentlemen ... Incidentally there has been no mention by anyone on here about the IFly 737 for P3D v5 and whether there will be a new version or indeed the current version will work in the new simulator? ....and whether we have to put our hands in our pockets ... i really do like the IFly 737 as a great alternative to the PMDG version and it’s quite a bit cheaper!!!

At only 5 euros a pop why not buy all of them!! I don't think it will break the bank ……. 😃

Hi Alex Ahhh so it works differently to using P3D or FSX in fullscreen mode …. all I get is a black screen on my 2nd monitor if in fullscreen May I take this opportunity to thank you for a wonderful program …. it is quite outstanding 🙂 Paul

I use Active Sky 16 with ASCA and select 'Global Automatic' Ok .. it's only my personal preference but I think HiFi Simulations cloud textures look more realistic Rex cloud textures look a tad 'cartoony' Paul

I have just heard the very sad news that Bob Sidwick of RC Simulations in Bristol UK has passed away after a short illness on 19th May 2019 Bob was one of the very first pioneers of Flight Simulation and will be very sadly missed within our community ... This is and will be a huge shock to all within the Flight Sim World An ambassador and a true gentleman .... The Hot Fix has worked a dream for me .... My P3D using True Earth South was an absolute slideshow until I applied the fix This is what I did 1. Uninstalled old Client 2. Installed new Client 3. Deleted P3D CFG (For some reason I had 2 ... both deleted) 4. Deleted Shaders Folder Started P3D 5. Closed down P3D and went to newly compiled P3D CFG and added the line ... UIHardwareAcceleration=True under [USERINTERFACE] section. 6. Re-instated all my settings and now it is running like a dream ...... WELL PLEASED Paul

Thank you for your input chaps .... where I was going wrong was not making the password secure enough .... it needed at least one capital letter .. a combination of numbers and a special character .... Doh!!!! Cheers Paul

Hi everyone I am trying to log into my PMDG Account as it has told me that I need to reset my password I follow the instructions and it then sends a link to my email address to click on The trouble is this isn't actually a link to click on ......it's just a line of text I therefore copy and paste this into my browser address bar and it duly takes me to the page to reset and confirm a new password This is where things go wrong ..... I type a new password in which includes a capital letter and numbers .... I confirm the password ... I click continue and it doesn't go any further! I've tried it a few times but the same thing keeps happening ..... Any ideas please? Cheers Paul
