  1. I Love thhe NGX.....Just wish it had progressive refueling like the MD11. Gideon Ward
  2. MY dynamic rate of change slider is set to zero and I still get high temps at altitude. The trick for me is to start FSX then start AS2012. Gideon Warde
  3. Anyone of the talented painters here in the forum able to create this livery for the -900? http://aeropuertodevigo.files.wordpress.com/2011/04/orbest.jpg
  4. Awesome Job Bryan! Gidel Warde
  5. I have a weird suspicion that this map function works best with users who use the voice control version vs the Button Control Version. Im currently using the button control version and even tho my flight appears on the map, it only does so for a few seconds before disappearing only then to reappear after a minutes. I have also witnessed this with other button control users. Is this normal? or is there a fix to this? Gidel Warde
  6. Absolutely love the sound of those Pratt n Whitney engines.... +1
  7. Hello Bryan n thanks for your response. Generally dont have CTD tho unless im closing the sim. Ill test it out again and get back to you. Gidel
  8. Hello everyone, I have the updated fs2crew button control version installed after a fresh reinstall of the NGX. The first leg always goes perfectly well, but seems like I cannot get Fs2crew to work perfectly on the 2nd or 3rd legs before it crashes. It always seems to crash the sim during preflight of the 2nd or 3rd leg or some other point along the flight. Any ideas as to why this is happening? Gidel ward
  9. If you look at the Flight path vector on the HGS as a reference, it pretty much tells you exactly when and what to do. Somewhere around 30ft AGL (i forget the exact) youll notice two plus signs sort of appear around the FPV, this indicates that you should begin your flare by pitching up to your 4-5 degree nose up attitude while closing the throttle. My technique, however, involves adding just enough power when those plus signs appear to push the FPV up to the horizon reference line in the HGS followed by fully closing the throttle at 10agl and pitching up to 4 degrees for a -50 to -100 greaser. A little bit more work, but does the job for me. Hope this helps.Gideon Ward
  10. Has anyone tried limiting the maximum size of textures FsX loads to 2048 in the CFG file? I did and so far frames have increased, ASE is loading much more cloud layers than before, and the sim is running much more smoothly. Gideon Ward
  11. In my honest opinion, this problem is related to the size of the repaint textures and your available memory. For example I get this problem with any repaint textures that use more that 100megs of space vs textures that use 70-90megs. I get this problem using the Jetblue repaints (120megs) vs the Delta repaint pack which is around 80 megs regardless of whether or not i start from a saved situation. Test it out for yourself im almost certain youll come to the same conclusion. Gideon Warde
  12. Hello ladies n gents, I might be rehashing old news now but I believe there are a few simmers who have the same issue as I had. I seemed to have fixed my R6025 C++ Runtime errors by deleting all PMDG .DLL entries in FSx.cfg and reauthorizing them by restarting the sim. So far its been almost 24 hours of flying with the latest hotfix with no runtime error. Gideon Ward
  13. I recently started getting this error as well. An d now it is occurring more and more frequently. Gideon Ward
  14. Hello gents: Currently on a flight and testing out the new hotfix. I think that the step climb logic still needs some tweaking. Cruising at FL370 with a gross weight of 147.2 and ZFW of 131.5 and cost index 57. The trip CRZ ALT is FL373 and though I know the aircraft is currently too heavy to step up to FL390, I enter the new altitude in the step climb box and it under the "step point" line on the CRZ page it says "NOW". However, the ND shows the Step climp point being a good 300nm away and still yet the Progress page indicates that the step point is at "0612z/-999727NM" with 670NM to destination. Gideon Ward
  15. 174 Pax sounds like your in Single class config instead of two class configuration. Gideon Ward
  16. Can someone of the many talented painters be so kind to put together a North American airlines livery for the 737-900WL?
  17. NICE!!!...Any chance you can whip up 900WL version as well? Gidel Ward
  18. There isnt any pax announcements or any of the other things you mentioned with the NGX, however you can purchase addons from other developers such as FSxPassengers or FScaptain. Oh and there is also FScrew addon in the works that will have pax announcements. Gideon Ward
  19. Im currently using this without any tweaks to Vsync and so far no noticeable issues. In fact it seems as though im getting a increase in performance Gideon Ward
  20. LoL I placed the line right under "[Controls]" and it worked fine.
  21. stick_sensitivity_mode 0 + PMDG 737 = Best thing since toasted bread w/butter n jelly Gidel Ward
  22. Hi Andrea, Random question, what are your computer specs? Your screenshot looks on a next level of great. Relating to your issue, I believe this is part of a package of issues that PMDG is working through. Just earlier today I realized that the chronometer froze on me when i thought it was counting the elapsed time after T/O. Cant wait for the SP1 to be released. Gidel Ward
