  1. I know this is an old thread but ive had this issue since day 1 of the NGX and was wondering if anyone has found a fix/workaround for the external view audio issue. Thanks
  2. Yes i tried without Opus same issue, turned out to be the Framerate limiter in Nvidia inspector causing the odd performance issues, changed the value in Inspector back to default and problems gone. Still wondering if i uninstall the NGX then re-install will that burn up a license key activation, as i just went through getting keys reactivated after the install on my new rig. Does uninstalling PMDG software release the license key is what im asking. Thx
  3. FSX on the ground running 30fps capped from nvidia inspector @ ksea with the NGX. About 45 seconds into the flight using the NGX frames suddenly slam down to around 5-7fps? I have tried this with and without a tweaked .cfg file, it only happens using the NGX, although the NGX usually runs at lower frames then any other aircraft ive never encountered such a huge and sudden drop that does not resolve itself. This is on a fresh install with a new system built around the i7 3770k, the only other program i run along with FSX is the OPUS weather program. Another quickie if i may, if i uninstall the NGX will that burn up a license key activation, as i just went through getting keys reactivated after the install on my new rig. Anyone have thoughts on this? Thank you very much!
  4. Submitted a ticket for key reactivation on the 29th, still no word and i cant use my ngx :(
  5. Yes i have tried that, and if i turn off the DHM everything is smooth as can be. The issue crops up mostly during turns so i was thinking it could be another .cfg issue i had some years back, but no amount of tweaking has been able to resolve the "vibrating" ground with DHM on. Let me know what if anything i can do to help figure this out, and in the mean time ill have to just keep enjoying Opus. Cheers **Edit** ill try turning aircraft bump off in camera settings later this evening -8gmt here.
  6. By trembling i mean a pretty severe stutter or sh-sh-sh-sh-sh-shaking that is not in tune with the camera movement or fps or game stutter, the ground appears to Vibrate (<-- thats a better word for it) at times
  7. I love the realistic cockpit movement with all the bumping and shaking during flight, i have read the manual and made sure to turn off the Turbulence effects in FSX and allow Opus to handle that. What i am experiencing with the dynamic camera options on, for any aircraft i have tested during flight is that while the cockpit is bumping around beautifully, if i look down at the ground there are times where it appears to be trembling very unnaturally (the ground that is) and is not in sync with the movement of the cockpit... if that makes any sense id appreciate any help or tips. thanks in advance.
  8. Just wanted to say thanx, came back from a long bit of contract work to find this new Gem in the latest service pack!!Thanks guys :)
  9. I currently have ASE running off of a secondary drive, would it be of benefit as far as texture loading to move it back to the FSX drive? Also any thoughts on 2x 1tb Raid 0 vs WD Raptor for fsx, what matters most seek times or throughput? Thanks :)
  10. AS2012, really liking the textures so far, the clouds seem to meld with the rest of FSX much better, where as REX clouds sometimes seemed out of place compared to the rest of the sim.
  11. Thank your for the laugh!! :)
  12. Ok but what i do not understand is why do some not have the issue at all, speaking for myself i have just completed a full clean reinstall of my OS windows 7 and FSX, following NickN's procedures besides the tweaks thus far.First time i loaded up the NGX again i got the crash, its not really much of a big deal as far as that goes, accept it also affect my ability toAlt-Tab which i literally can not do if using the NGX.Id really like to get to the bottom of this and figure out what FSX is doing on some machines that its not doing on others.I have a logitech Keyboard and mouse? lol sounds strange but ive heard these sometimes causing issues.Needless to say i am at a loss here.Cheers
  13. I have the latest FSUIPC installed and Registered although i cant imagine why that would be needed.Using the EXIT option in FSX still causes a crash about 1/4 times.
  14. Yay got my NGX back, thank you Ryan.Sadly still getting the FSX crash on Exit after using the NGX... sigh.Oh well ill have to keep testing and get fully set up, hopefully it goes away.
  15. Is it ok to continue installing other addons for FS, or should i just leave it alone ?Odd thing is now that i think abou it, i was only asked for the license key once, on first install, only uninstalled 2 times before for both patches (guess i should have listened to the "you dont need to reinstall") but it never requested the key those times. Not untill now with the full system reinstall.
  16. No update on my ticket yet :(Thanks for the tip though, ill make sure to keep checking status.
  17. I hope having to cancel activation isnt going to screw up my new FSX install.
  18. Seems ive exceeded activations and now i cannot fly !!! nooooo :Shocked:Has not been my week for FS, just finished a duanting full system Re-install and now this... sighWell at least everything seems to be running suprerbly =DOmg Hurry PMDG!!

  21. Ok i just loaded up 8 times in a row without a crash using defualt weather and time, flying around, just sitting on the runway.... setting up a quick flight from KSEA - KPDX cutting the flight midway through, and no issues FSX closed perfeclty. Then i try changing weather, and switch to the 736 and dusk time, turn on the lights sit for a bit and try to close FSX... CRASH's again, so i load up the 738 again, leave evertying at defualt, try and exit and CRASH, i try again and CRASH on exit...Serioulsy baffled now :sad:Can someone from PMDG please assist me, do i perhaps need a new base package to install?I have whatever was released on day one, and the service packs plus the 600, 700 release. Its not really the crash on exit that makes it so bad, its the fact i cant change much of anything or even dare to alt=tab using the ngx.
  22. Please add your experience to the poll i just put up, id really like to figure this out thanks :)
