  1. If you click on the PF countdown timer it will decrease in time if you want to have a shorter preflight.....
  2. I can't really say I'm in need of synthetic vision, but if the rest of the G1000 is fully upgraded with stable flight plan entry and editing and directs and such, then it would be worth it for all those planes. Is this something that replaces the GTN mods so we use it for LNAV? Or is it the same old crappy Carenado G1000 with one of the screens features synthetic vis?
  3. The ENG and SYS buttons are the small little buttons just to the left of the Autobrake and Flap indicator. For the vast majority of airlines, the only time the lower screen is used is to hit ENG at the beginning of engine start to monitor everything measured in the engines (N2 and oil pressure, for example) and then once the engines are started, hit SYS and that brings up the flight control diagram for the flight control check. This all gets turned off before takeoff and is used as a backup screen in case another one fails. You'll soon find that looking down at the lower screen for engine start conveniently also reveals the fuel control levers below the throttles which are moved to IDLE at 25%+ N2.
  4. I flew the first leg uneventfully using FS2Crew. PMDG B737-700WL. Pushed back and started engines for the second leg. Once I applied power to taxi, the ground speed on the ND started climbing, but the aircraft wasn't actually moving visually in sim, both internally in the VC or externally. I saved the flight, and shut down the sim, but the sim crashed upon closing and I got this message. 5. I wish to vote for the Bombardier C-series.
  6. Ok, sorry, it was late at night and I didn't read the whole thing. I'm working on a few other bugs with them, also.

  8. I've sent them, and received the generic response to an issue with the GNS NAV2 knobs with GTN intergration. Their generic GNS has the COM/NAV 2 and the knobs are supposed to control it, however the inner knob controls COM2 after the decimal, and the outer knob controls NAV2 before the decimal. So, both are useless.
  9. I got the Aux switch to auto close via this code. Thanks! But, I too have no APU anymore. Regardless of how load the plane or if I hit Cold and Dark or not. What kind of "formatting" fixed it?
  10. Everyone keeps saying this plane is under powered, but in real life, as a controller, I don't think I've ever seen a Hawker 850 up at FL400, let alone above FL370, certainly not straight off the ground with fuel. And they're rarely over M74. These are not C750s or GLF6s. They are relatively unimpressive jets. But they're still very nice airplanes, and pilots seem to love flying them. My primary issues with this plane is still a bad FLC (climbing a jet in VS mode is EXTREMELY dangerous) and the direct to function doesn't actually exist.
  11. SP1 did not address Direct To whatsoever, it appears. I've been emailing them about this being unacceptable, and they claim to be working on it still... The NAV will just turn you hard back towards the active leg and then slowely turn back to intercept the "radial" of the original flight plan leg. Also, the FLC is still useless and anytime you change the type of climb or descent profile you use, it cancels Altitude Capture, and the PFD isn't realistic enough for you to know otherwise. If these three things aren't fixed in the next month or so, I'm gonna have to get my money back. 50 bucks should get you a plane that replicates the experience of the real thing, and without these things...
