  3. I just looked at your signature and looked up the flight1 king air.....I am blown away! Bought it! Back on topic - thanks to Bert for V2 of the mods! Should we PM again?
  4. OK so better off not installing the service pack?
  5. Just awesome Craig - without you, Bert & Nick this would have been......well I don't want to say...just thanks!
  6. Thanks Craig and Nick! Will apply mods incl Bert's.
  7. From their facebook: PC12 FSX/P3D Service Pack 20141002 October 2nd, 2014 YOU DONT NEED THIS SERVICE PACK IF YOU DOWNLOADED THE AIRCRAFT AFTER September 2nd 2014 AT 0100GMT. Improvements: -Improved sounds. -Some RXP-EHSI integration improved. -Some aural warnings added (fire alarm among others). Fixes: -EIS Fuel units corrected. -Pedals animation issue corrected. -Off GNS530 issue corrected. -Transponder chronometer fixed. -Some other minor issues fixed. Customers should login into their account at Carenado in order to download it.
  8. About the sounds - sorry Robert I cannot say anything yet as I have bought the sounds only as waiting for the Pc-12 to be at Simmarket so i can use paypal. Yes that sounds good (of course copy over those respective files).
  9. Oops no it isn't - thought video was locked.
  10. Great recommendation for the video, thanks Craig! I always replace the sound with sonic solutions or arezone if I can. I find Carenado's sounds are good but not as perfect (especially in the VC a bit muffled). Here is one I just bought for the pc-12: http://secure.simmarket.com/sonic-solutions-pt6a-soundpack-fsxp3d.phtml You can click on read more for the video. I have to wait until it hits simmarket because Carenado don't use paypal. Just bought the video Craig mentioned from pcaviator.com (could not find it on simmarket).
  11. I still cannot find a solution. After further research it seems that the reason the knobs are weird is code was not implemented in the model to hide them. From this link the picture shown in the comments just shows (have to look carefully as it is a small pic) that the model does not have the 3d knobs hidden. http://forum.avsim.net/page/index.html/_/reviews/aircraft/lockheed-p-38-redbull-redux-from-milviz-r1546 Given that you have to implement this yourself and the knobs are not coded I would say (not being disrespectful to Milviz who are obviously great developers) some may think putting the wording that the model is RXP integrated is not strictly correct. In my case I have removed the 530 from the VC and am using a pop-up instead. Issue resolved.
  12. Thanks Craig, you too. B)
  13. I watched it properly and yes his hand is on the yoke, sorry please disregard post. I was surprised he has 4 mfd/pfd displays rather than 3. Shouldn't do 3 things at once and should sometimes turn off my iphone
  14. I am just learning the RXP GNS 530 and am using direct to then hand-flying the landings. I have just joined Aviator90's Instrument Flying course so please excuse my ignorance about these things. Coming from almost only flying WW2 stuff like Classics Hangar, A2A etc I was surprised to see that this is a hands off landing and taxi shown in the video below. Is this something we will be able to do with the new Carenado Pc-12 using the 530 as a pop-up?
  15. For me I uninstalled P3D a few months ago because I found Steve's DX10 Fixer - no OOMs (but I shut-down and restart FSX for every flight), higher lod_radius, higher autogen, better fps, smoother, more compatibility etc etc (i2600k overclocked to 4.8 - Matrox TH2Go - Saitek panels * 3 - 8gb ram - gtx580 with 1gb also overclocked) Now I am really enjoying FSX like never before! So if you could make this work in FSX that would be great because FSX has far better performance on my system so I will stay with it for many years more.
  16. Forgive my ignorance but is it possible theoretically to delete both of the 430 gauges from the panel.cfg and define the RXP 530 to fit instead? Or does it need to have the 530 default or otherwise defined already in the model? EDIT - sorry just saw in another thread it cannot be done.
  17. Please excuse my ignorance but can this fix the distortions on the side monitors for FSX as well or is it only P3D?
  18. Actually this exact issue of "non-integration" has been the same for 2 years on Milviz's forums for their "RXP Integrated" planes. Thanks, I will await the correct p-38 RXP Integration on these forums then from you because mine has issues. - you need either 530 only, 430 only or both - that is 3 panel.cfgs maximum only - in my case I have a 530 only
  19. I working it out myself - it is showing - adjusting now. Far out their panel.cfg!
  20. I have the Lancair Legacy and the Duke V2 and would love to able to fly with the F1 GTN in both (learning the 530 currently). My wallet is ready! Very grateful we have great developer's like Rob and Sean, thanks guys!
  21. I have just bought the Milviz P-38 only to discover there is no RXP Integration (on their website it says there is) - you have to do it yourself. So I have tried for 4 hours to get it working to no avail. Before I throw in the towel and ask for a refund I thought I would just check if someone actually has it working ? Further I saw Chuck Jodry the coder said this on the release "Complete instructions and sample panel cfg's are in the Milviz forums , both at Avsim and for registered clients at Milviz" - I could not find any samples at all on avsim. http://forum.avsim.net/page/index.html/_/reviews/aircraft/lockheed-p-38-redbull-redux-from-milviz-r1546 Does anyone know? or were they lost when avsim had to rebuild? Thanks. Ps The reason I am not asking this on Milviz forums but here is because Colin stated on his forum he would not even provide RXP Integration and a staff member said the same on soh. So please don't tell me to ask there because no point. http://www.milviz.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=82&t=2966 http://sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/showthread.php?89245-Issues-with-Milviz-P-38-Redux&p=902470&viewfull=1#post902470
  22. I was wondering if someone with more knowledge than me could please post their "RE_ParametersXXXX.ini" files for these 2 great planes?
