"TBF the latest versions of all the other sims have flopped so far" You are jet lag on your time.It was not very, very, very complicated for MSFS 2020 to do better in some areas than in all the others sims. All the others were already 10 years late. Nevertheless and whatever one thinks of it, MSFS is for me average in many respects and poorly mastered as a whole. Each flight is strewn with imbalances of all kinds. MSFS is also one of the other failed simulations so far since it is already 3 years behind on the progress and repairs.In any case, I applaud the prowess of MSFS, which has achieved commercial success on this basis so messy. "IF 2024 has a good acceptance for the people using 2020 I would consider it a win." Without looking any further,it's a perfect reference point for a weak and easily influenced person.

There is one thing I am sure of. It will be very difficult after these 3 years spent with MSFS 2020 to reproduce the same enthusiasm for MSFS 2024.

I certainly wasted less time with my analysis of MSFS2020 live weather than you wasted yours responding to my comment. It is in these short moments of exchange that I realize that there are as many different respectable analyzes as unnamed cloud shapes in MSFS2020.

The MSFS2020 "Live Weather" as a whole bears an incredible resemblance to nothing. My post is definitely not for scientists who use MSFS2020 as a ride once a week when their wives allow them. 3 years for that. Here's what's not working for me: Shape of clouds .Transparency of clouds.Colors of clouds.Luminosity of clouds.Varieties of clouds.Shadows of clouds between them. Sky color.Ground light beam.Ground shadows clouds. Exaggerated dark visibility. Dazzling horizon.Turbulence. Wind speed.Wind direction.Temperature. Rain on the ground. Snow cover. Icing. Weather server failures. It is for me a total draft without any balance. I would retain some beautiful images above the cloud layer.

Since I bought the RTX 4090 I immediately understood that 4k is a must to have and that from now on I would only buy the best GPU that exists.

"Asobo took their first swing at this genre and ended up creating the most successful flight sim ever made.I'm not too worried about 2024 since the team can only get better at what they're doing from here" There are so many rude examples to be able to say without shame that MSFS is not good in an incredible number of areas.I've also noticed even here on these pages that MSFS2020 has deservedly attracted an incredible number of Super Mario fans & Sunday pilot of all skill levels.If we put aside all the bugs and weaknesses of MSFS2020. You are their success.

In addition to the doubts I have about the balance and quality of the future MSFS 2024 and in view of the current circumstances .The end of MSFS 2020 is going to be pathetic. But we will keep many souvenir photos made in all corners of our beautiful planet. That they only do what they know how to do with a little coherence and honesty will be enough for me.

When I look back on these long years of MSFS2020 who continues to cling to the branches of the tree to look good .I'm sure that MSFS2024 will at least be a "normal simulator" ,finally.
