  2. Looking forward to it! After reading some of the posts... I'll look at investing in the 777. @JimBarrett You made some good points, you put things into a very interesting perspective. Thanks for sharing your story.
  3. Will this free update to the P3D737 which was mentioned to be in beta with the above post, also mean a free release for P3D, or will we have to rebuy the 737 like the 777? I might wait for the 737 before reinvesting into the 777... Edited Post: Made a mistake with P3D and 737. Meant 737. Also, Thank you for the information Tabs. I am just expressing my frustration, doesn't mean I don't like you guys or your products... Just a different point of view. I am happy with my T777 for FSX.
  4. From the website product page: PREPAR3D NOTES: This is compatible only with Lockheed Martin's Prepar3D. (v2.2.x - v2.4.x) This package is required to use any of the PMDG 777 series products for Prepar3D. You must have installed Lockheed Martin's Prepar3D to use this product. (Any Prepar3D license level.) This product requires a live connection to the internet for installation. This product uses a full virtual cockpit and does not include 2D panels. (Some pop-up functions avail.) This PMDG 777 license is for personal use only, not for professional or training use. This PMDG 777 license is compatible with any Lockheed Martin Prepar3D license level.
  5. Hey! I'm still waiting for X-Plane stuff too! I'm not just part of the P3D mob
  6. I just hope that voting with my wallet means that I am choosing not to purchase it because I don't have interest in P3D development. I do have interest. I am just frustrated with their method of charging full price just for another platform. P3D is not that different to justify the price as FS9 was with FSX. Come, P3Ds 32 - 64 bit, charge for an update then? Sure, I can agree with that. You guys will have a lot of work for that, but the change isn't that big from FSX to P3D. (That I know of... If not, please correct me.) Again, I know their were changes with the coding and licensing, but the models, sounds and textures all remain the same... no? Even a small discount for that would be appreciated. PMDG does amazing work, your products are worth every penny. I just feel less valued that I have to rebuy the exact same aircraft (with respect to the type of plane) at full price just to fly it on P3D.
  7. I bought ASN about 3 weeks ago... I wish I bought it 5 years ago Works amazing, really adds to the flight simming experience. As I say to everyone, download the demo and try for yourself. If you like it, excellent, upgrade, if not, simply uninstall. No harm no foul. It's one of those things you have to test on your computer as well to see if it can handle it. Happy Flying
  8. Thanks Michar! I'll certainly try this when I get home! :)

    No Lights

There is a setting in the FMC PMDG Settings to turn on the visual lights. I think they turned them off by default to reduce load on users computers... You just have to search for it in the FMC Settings. Sorry, I don't know the specific location, I read it on a post on the forums. Try a quick search and you will find the right location to turn the setting on! Happy Flying
  10. I am running Windows 8.1, I have a very overkill rigged computer but its working with no issues. FSX, 777, ASN. Only sometimes after I click close FSX from the Escape menu will it sometimes crash at that point. Otherwise, it has never given me an error message in flight or on start up. I did a fresh install of the 777 and followed PMDGs uninstall guide when the 300 series and SP1 came out. There is a warning message on my FSX though I will point out, and I do recommend it. After loading into the 777 or payware addon, I will always restart my flight simulator if I'm going to start a second flight or change my aircraft. Just clears all the old memory.
  11. Thanks for the update! I did a fresh install of the 777 and have experienced no issues. Not sure if that helps in anyway, but I appreciate the updates for the people having issues... Hopefully I don't experience them, but the info is good to have in the unlikely event I do...
  12. End of this thread he says he has it working... http://forum.avsim.net/topic/445631-777/ Edit: I think that's what he meant... "working had to run as admin"
  13. Yeah that's what I meant by disabling DX11... There is a program that fixes some of the DX11 issues out there.. I'm not to sure what else to suggest. Might want to submit a support ticket. Make sure you are actually loading into the aircraft and not just judging whether it will work with the aircraft previewer.
  14. Do you have DX11 preview mode enabled? The model is very complex, depending on your system, it may take a while to fully load the model once loaded in game.
