  7. Finally got round to escaping South America after completing the EHAM - SAEZ - SCEL - SAEZ sectors. Highly recommend them to anyone! Especially SCEL. Flight Details: Callsign: KLM702 Aircraft: PH-BVA / Boeing 777-300ER Departure: Buenos Aires, Argentina Arrival: Schiphol, Netherlands STD: 1845Z STA: 0800z Route: KUKEN UL324 CUARA UM532 MOPKA/N0499F310 UM532 KUKOL UZ5 BSI UZ2 SLI/M083F310 DCT MAVKO DCT GOGSO DCT GARPO DCT ERNEK/M083F330 DCT 25N029W/M083F350 30N026W 35N022W 40N019W DCT GONAN/M083F360 DCT SEPAL UN470 LAPEX UN472 BADUR/N0481F370 UN585 KOKOS UN491 LGL UT176 EVX UN873 BELDI UY473 LUMIL UY873 DENUT ---------------------------------- Initially had a few issues which was going to make us have to offload baggage due our high take off weight and runway limitations. However, fortunately, the temp dropped and with an A/C off departure we were able to get our Takeoff Calculations and get underway without the need to offload baggage. Our TOW was 351000kgs. No de-rate for this departure from RWY35 Just getting airborne out of Buenos Aires with not much RWY to spare. Low cloud hovered over the airport which drifted in just before our departure thankfully helping drop the temp just a few C allowing us to get underway. Starry night over Brazil. Got a bit of a light show as we flew up the East of Columbia, few thunderstorms in the vicinity. Nothing much happened on the long stint over the Atlantic and up past the Canaries. So here we are descending into Amsterdam now ahead of schedule thanks to the 119kt tailwinds. Just over the coast before turning base for RWY18R. Thankfully don't have the hellish weather today in Amsterdam that was happening yesterday! Turning final approx 10nm out at 2000ft. Nearing terra firma after the nearly 13hr flight from South America. The long taxi in from the Polderbaan, parking F4 today. Here she is sleeping quietly awaiting the next crew to take here to another continent. Thanks for looking! Shaun
  8. Flight Details Callsign: AFR291 Departure Aerodrome: Kansai International (RJBB/KIX) Departure Time: 0335z Arrival Aerodrome: Paris Charles de Gaulle (LFPG/CDG) Arrival Time: 1600z Flight Time: 12h 20m Aircraft: Boeing 777-200ER / F-GSSU ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So we arrived at Kansai International Airport about 2 hours after the aircraft had landed, received our flight documents and headed out the aircraft. The aircraft was expected to spend around 3hours on the ground after arrival so it was left in a cold and dark state. Sitting on Stand F35 at Terminal 1 we started to bring her to life. Whilst the Captain was preparing the Flight Deck I did the walk around since I was Pilot Flying for this sector, I deemed the aircraft fit to fly and headed back into the aircraft. We departed Kansai about 13minutes late and were slowly starting to go through our step climbs. We expecting some moderate headwinds over Russia until we reached Scandinavia. During our cruise over Western Russia we were expecting to arrive with a little bit more fuel than expected due to the winds not living up to our expectations, we contacted ATC via CPDLC and asked if we could dump some fuel. Taken very short final into Paris's RWY26L, winds were 329 @ 13kts at this point. On blocks in Paris after the long but pleasant flight. Passengers in the terminal graphing our aircraft as see prepares for her next voyage to another part of the world. Hope you liked. Shaun

  11. Evening, Just a few shots from my latest flight over in the Middle East. Company traffic departing as we push back from Terminal 2. Taxiing to Runway 30R for my first flight out to Doha passing the world famous Emirates Engineering Centre. "SkyDubai Five, you are cleared for takeoff RWY30R via November Nine. Surface winds are 300 @ 11kts." Climbing away! A pretty remarkable cruise docked up in Dubai. Seeing the marvellous city of Dubai as we head off to Doha. Flying over the islands as we depart. Few shots from my flight to Male Passing the city once again. Finals, First Officer set up his Go Pro on the dash. Shut down for the night, now time to spend a night in Male.
