  1. Done Ramon. I went to their web page and left a message. Have you tried the lights at night? I haven't but will today. Rick
  2. Hi all: I have noticed that the cockpit flood light does not seem to be working on my system, FSX Gold Boxed. When I click the button or the knob the floodlight flashes and everything is illuminated for a second, then the illumination disappears although the light fixture looks to be on. Anyone else? Thanks Rick
  3. So beautiful! My only question on this is will those enhancements affect VAS and/or FPS for the 32 bit sims? The aircraft is so terrific as it is now.
  4. Thanks Mark. Sounds like a great path to take. We 32 bitters will be eternally grateful. Edit: Forgot to ask. Are these changes is 1.6? I will be working with that today. Thanks
  5. Yes Al. I'll try 1.6 tomorrow and report back. Also I'll take a look at the memory usage. I haven't looked at that for some time. Also from my perspective I would be very happy with two versions. Hell, I'm happy with what I have right now, minus the flashes.
  6. Well, I hate to bring this up but the vampire is not dead yet. I have been flying the Falcon every day and had not seen any flashing until just now. FSX boxed, SP2, Test13 on the model. End of a 4 hr flight from Colorado to Bahamas. The entire route was fine until the descent, where the flashing began anew. Some simple flashing and an artifact across the VC at one point. I found that I could make it go away by pressing ALT on the keyboard to bring up the task bar at the top. I always fly full screen. Landed ok but I have found in the past that exiting FSX and reloading makes the flashing disappear. I didn't need to resort to that here. For what it's worth. Rick
  7. Hi all: This is almost like a trivia question but I would appreciate some help on this. I spend time trying to get the three engines at the same N1 on takeoff and in cruise. Actually during takeoff, absent anyone in the right seat, there is not a lot of time available to worry about the synch so I just do my best on a quick look at the gauges. I try for 1 and 3 and don't worry about the centerline engine. But at cruise I start out with them each a bit different N1 and fiddle with the throttles until they are close. But then I have noticed that as time passes, the N1s seem to creep together. Is there a FADEC sort of algorithm running in the background which tends to even them out? Also if there is a type rated person here, what is done in the RW on this? Thanks Rick
  8. What has worked for me is the A/P must be in NAV flying the flight plan, the approach is activated on the GTN and the aircraft is on the approach, the GTN must transition to LPV usually at the FAF, the glide slope cue appears on the pdf, and I select APP on the mode control panel as the glide slope cue begins to sink. It sounds like a lot of steps but they all flow sequentially so long as the A/P is in NAV and flying the approach. You should also be sure to look at the approach plate to be sure you cross the IAF and FAF at the correct altitudes.
  9. Hi Ramon: Thank you for that line in panel.cfg. Works perfectly. Now with Instrument Reflections OFF I can run the GTN without using the pop up window and do everything, including GTO, which you are aware. Thanks again for your work and help. Best regards, Rick
  10. Hi Ramon: I have made a number of flights and everything is working fine. Great piece of work. I just had a question though. Is it possible to adjust the size of the GTN display on the panel so it includes the entire display, including the information in the top banner? Thanks Rick
  11. I did not suggest anything. It's your choice and I really don't mind one way or the other. BTW, I couldn't get DTO to work at all either. Rick
  12. Try turning on the power on the overhead panel...
  13. Thank you again Ramon. Looking forward to seeing the product. Rick
  14. Not seeing any either. Looks like Mark has fixed this. Also, I notice the enunciaters on the A/P control panel are back to normal. Life is good. 🙂
  15. Well, I had this problem as well but I have moved on to the GTN solution and no longer track this issue.
  16. Hi All: Does anyone have a good fix for the mow famous Navigraph-related very low FPS? After the latest install of the Falcon I am getting frame rates at start up below 1. I have googled it and checked the Carenado support page and cannot find anything definitive that works. Thoughts? Thanks Rick
  17. Hi Al: I'm running FSX boxed with Falcon V1.5 and the trial .mdl file. I fly the approach with the AP in NAV and the GTN task bar showing GPS or NAV, don't remember which, but not VLOC. When we reach the FAF (sometimes IAF) the GTN switches to LPV, turns onto the runway heading, and I select APPR on the AP to activate the G/S capture. Earlier the APPR button would show GPS APPR, now everything is out except ALT. However as the G/S bug descends, the aircraft follows the glide slope and the track. But strangely, the annunciations are out. I'll try a few more but since I saw it twice, thought I should report. Rick
  18. Hi All: Running FSX and Falcon V1.5 with the .mdl trial file. I have flown 2 RNAV approaches the last few days and they are working fine but I noticed that the APPR button on the AP panel no longer displays APPR and GPS as it did earlier. The AP worked fine and flew the RNAV LPV fine but that annunciator was reassuring as one approaches the pseudo glide slope intercept. Have we lost that? Rick
  19. Flysimware Lear 35 and Dassault F50 Falcon definitely belong on any such list.
  20. Hi Ramon: Flew a 1200mile flight today on FSX. Perfect end to end. Flew an RNAV approach and everything works fine. Great piece of work Ramon. Only suggestion I could make is it would be nice to control the PFD bottom display to show waypoints, airports, VORs, or nothing. I realize those formats are controlled from the CDU. Is there a way to accomplish that? Thanks again for your hard work. Rick
  21. Hi Bill: I have found that when flashing starts immediately when FSX is loaded, I just shut it down and start over. That seems to work for me. Rick
