I have recently installed the Quality Wings 757 onto my laptop, and it is registered and seems to work fine except for the FMC. The FMC seems to be having a problem displaying certain text. The IDENT Page shows everything correctly as well as my up to date AIRAC Cycle of 1509. However when I proceed to the next page, the REF Airport section is blank and does not let me type anything on that page. The SID's and STAR's also don't appear. But if I click randomly on the SID/STAR Page, they do appear on the RTE, so its like the text is there but invisible. I am wondering if this could be a problem with a certain gauge file that is missing, but really can't seem to find the problem! Any help is appreciated. I am running Windows 10. Thank you! Thanks! That will be the last resort! I figured it was an extension, but none show up! I just blocked certain cookies from certain websites and now the speed has greatly increase on avsim, so I'm figuring that it must be certain cookies or the like! Any advice? In addition, Malware bytes detects the outbound program coming from the chrome exe.. I have tried uninstalling chrome and reinstalling but to no avail, the redirects popup! Anything would help, thanks! I just backed up select files (which I know are not infected) just in case I have to resort to this! Hopefully I won't! Thanks for your reply! P.s. I have been extra careful to the websites I visit ever since I noticed this odd infection. Haven't been to any site holding any personal info (banks, paypal etc.). Mostly just youtube, google, airnav, the like!

Good evening, I'm running Windows 10 on my laptop, and seem to have a certain adware program that keeps redirecting me to random websites. I have malwarebytes, but unfortunately it cannot detect it as malware. However, whenever I enter into avsim, the adware wants to run the most, making my experience on avsim very very slow. Oddly though, performance runs fine on other sites like YouTube, Google (in general). What malwarebytes does say is that it blocked an outbound process from the website: tr553.com from the chrome.exe... The files from tr553 cannot be found anywhere on my computer and am stuck wondering how to remove it. I have followed countless instructional articles, but they all seem to have the same structure of: "Download this Program" or "Remove it manually at your own risk". And each website promotes its different programs. None of them work unfortunately. Chrome has absolutely no extensions on it. Basically clean, but these ads keep coming! I see the website redirects in the source page when i click inspect element. I want to know if there is anyone out there who would like to help me remove this from my computer for good. I don't even know where it came from. programs seem to be: tr553.com as well as ads by Jabuticaba. Very annoying.I apologize if I have posted this in the incorrect space, no other forum seems to be of use. Very thankful for anything! Regards, Chris

I have the Aerosoft Airbus! I enjoy the systems & the graphics! But it kills my frames a lot and the quick reactions of the controls when on autopilot doesn't seem right lol. Thanks for the reply & have a great day!

Haha Agreed! Well seeing as I've bought it almost a year ago, I'm not too disappointed about it ^_^ ! I'll just wait for the FSL Airbus A320! By the looks of it, it's (hopefully) going to be as good, if not better, than Aerosoft. But that's a whole new discussion :rolleyes: !

Thanks! I'll be trying it soon to see how it performs. However when it descends using those numbers it usually gets below its own Vertical path causing a level off, or the aircraft gets too slow causing the thrust to be set to hold the speed which is quite annoying! Hello all, I haven't posted in a long time so please excuse me if my post is in the wrong area or rather lengthy. So lets get started! I have the Blackbox Airbus Prologue at the moment, but usually only fly the A320 model. For any other Blackbox A320 users out there, is there anyway to get the Airbus to descend at a faster speed, say, 300 KTS? I have talked to various Airbus pilots about the A320 aircraft in general (descent speeds, types of descents, and descent rates) and have learned a lot about the bus, and know that it can and usually will descend anywhere from 280 up to 300+ Knots depending on weather, weight, cost index, etc. The blackbox A320's MCDU however has a set managed descent speed of 250 Knots. You can change the cost index, which will affect the cruise and climb speeds, but the descent speed is always set to 250 for me :huh: . Is there anyway to get the aircraft to descent faster? Sometimes I find myself preparing to fly a STAR with a constraint of 280 Knots, and the descent speed still set at 250. I have inputted selected mode speeds in the MCDU before descent of 280+ but it doesnt seem to change the T/D point, and still descends very poorly causing an early level off. Questions: -Can I get the A320 to descend at a faster speed and fly the vertical profile to meet all constraints? If so, how? Thanks for taking the time to read this! I have had FSX Gold Edition on my laptop for a little less than a year with an Xbox Controller and the other day I turned on my laptop (runs Windows 8) and it said it was installing updates 1/14 or whatever and when it was done, it said that Windows has encountered a problem with a ): Face. So I had to refresh my laptop and it uninstalled FSX. So when I went to install FSX Deluxe it said Error 1722 so I did the KB928080 fix in the command prompt and it worked. I activated FSX: Deluxe Edition on my laptop. I went to go install the FSX: Acceleration pack and it said that FSX Must be activated before installing FSX Acceleration, then it said to run the setup again. I am really frustrated. And to add to that, the XBOX controller that I have been using is now not being recognized by my computer. I was flying normally with it and all of a sudden it changes from Player 1 to Player 2 which leaves me with an unresponsive XBOX controller. I unplugged it and when I plug it back in, it says USB Device not recognized. It seems as if I spend more time fixing all of FSX's problems than actually playing the game! I appreciate the effort of anyone who replies. PLEASE HELP ME!

It didn't help, my view was limited and I couldn't really see 360 degrees, and my rolls were the same, if not maybe a bit worse, any other suggestions?

Ok, I'll try that when I can, I hope it helps. In the FSX Red Bull Air Race the roll doesn't seem fast enough to slalom through the chicane. It seems too close together and not possible. If you have any advice on this, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

How would I go about getting an external FDE?

If you don't mind me asking, what is an FDE? I have had experience in an Extra 300L here in Florida, the aircraft rolled and you can feel it stop so crisp and suddenly!

So I have been very interested in doing aerobatics, but I have seen an Extra 300 roll REALLY fast to the right and instantly turn to the left. But in FSX when I try to do that it just keeps rolling for a split second. For example: When you do 10 rolls in an Extra 300, Edge 540, MXS-RH or whatever, and you center the controls, you will instantly stop. In FSX I try that and 1. The rollrate of the Extra 300 is WAY too slow in comparison to the real one and 2. When I center the controls, it keeps rolling for a second more, sometimes even when I apply opposite aileron. I just wanted to know if there is any way that someone knows or could possibly make the Extra 300 roll and stop instantly. It seems as if a nice crisp 4 point roll is impossible with that plane. Any edits I could make to the Aircraft.cfg that could make it roll and when I center the controls, it stops? I would be so thankful. Thanks for your time :lol:
