Any information on P3D v2.5 as to what's comming?

Any clouds that you've installed in your FS. If you run REX4 again and install a theme with clouds than these clouds are what you see. One can untick to install clouds in REX4 so it won't override the Soft Clouds. Spirit
-
It's a stand alone for clouds only. Spirit
-
No problem to buy and download REX Soft Clouds. Easy to install and the GUI looks similar to REX4. I don't care that it is an extra stand alone tool but it would be nice to have it integrated in REX4 Texture direct. Stunning clouds available and to use without any FPS hit. Spirit

Easy to check by yourself with this link. http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/ Spirit

P3D V2 crashing on Nvidia 344.75 driver
spirit_66 replied to danieirch's topic in The Prepar3d Forum
Did you monitor the heat and load of your GPU? I run 344.80 without any problem. Spirit -
why p3d 2.4 does not support windows 8.1
spirit_66 replied to yafatana's topic in The Prepar3d Forum
That's a naive question. But you can ask the hardware manufacturer about this. I recommend to use always the newest drivers if one doesn't have a specific reason to stick with one specific driver. Spirit -
Hi Paul, your to-do-list is incredible and I guess there's still no end of the tunnel to see. There's always something to do and/or to fix. One positive thing - it keeps you young - but only in mind and the body has its problem to catch up. Stay healthy my friend. Be happy and take good care of yourself. Spirit
-
Hi Paul, well, how could I've missed that? No FSX anymore on my rig - only P3D v2.4. Anyway, thanks a lot for your time to answer my question. You should try P3D v2.x and as they have a very good refund policy it would be without any cost for you. I guess you would like it too as I did. Well, than you would have to pay it. ^_^ Have a good time Spirit

Do you really think that counts for a modern system? Spirit
-
I guess that something has changed on your system what puts more load on the GPU. Driver update maybe. I use the 344.80 and it's fine for me. I always use NI and I doubt that LM is blocking something with NI because NI is only a tool to set more parameter than it's possible to set with the CP for the GPU together with the game. Try it and you'll see. Spirit

Take some load from your GPU. Do you use nVidia Inspector? Spirit

Works fine with Windows 10 and P3D v2.4. http://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3607 Spirit

why p3d 2.4 does not support windows 8.1

P3D v2.4 works also pretty good with Windows 10 (Technical Preview Build 9860). Too many "experts" out there and they are talking only hot air. Spirit -
Prepar3D SLI support : I have a dream, let our voice be heard.
spirit_66 replied to vbazillio's topic in The Prepar3d Forum
I guess yes, if you know what to set but that's AMD and we're talking about nVidia. Spirit -
Reading here gives more information. http://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3605 Spirit

Live ATC Autoplay for P3d 2.4 (LAAP)
spirit_66 replied to jabloomf1230's topic in The Prepar3d Forum
This one should work. http://laap.atc.free.fr/presentation-en.html Spirit PS: Attention! The installation of the VLC player may hijack your browser with a "search.us.com" link which is a bit difficult and annoying to remove. Whenever you start your browser it will be opened and not your previous saved tabs.
