I was playing Competitive Level FPS games (e.g Counter Strike, Team Fortress, Quake etc) during CRT era before we switched to LCD screens. After switching to LCD i had to lower resolution, graphics etc to play same level because image was ghosting unless i was using TN panels. Now i am way older and at this point it doesnt matter for me as i haven't playing competitive level anymore, but higher fps (120 vs 60) feels more responsive and butter smooth for me in Battlefield 6. I play better if i play 120fps. (I have 120 hz oleds) If i am playing Flight Simulator 2024, i aim for 30 fps on all 3 screens or 60 on center and 30 on the sides. At that point i agree your statement. 30-60 or 120 doesnt matter for me since i only fly with tubeliners.

That is correct and the first message was removed for this reason. My mistake was based my old message and some other user messages, i thought that may be tolerated and i was wrong. The second one is there now after i discussed it with the moderator and nicely and briefly told what was wrong in it. (1st sentence was against code of conduct, which i disagree, but i fixed it.) The reason why i posted on AVSIM is to see people's opinion and based on different comments i have read so far, it was a correct choice. 👍

@JonathanC Let me explain again, as my messages and the reason why i shared those screenshots are either being misunderstood or going in wrong direction. By the way, I did not get banned or kicked out. as @SeedyL mentioned my account is still in good standing and i can still contribute. My first screenshot: My message removed by moderator. Reason Code of Conduct. Totally normal, no problems. (To be more clear: I am not blaming the moderator here.) Seconds screenshot: Freedom of opinion (not freedom of speech). Moderator clearly informed me there is no freedom of opinion in those forums. Understood, again no problems. This shows i misunderstood the FORUM concept (in MSFS forums case) which i used to experience more than 25 years. Also I agree they can do whatever they want since it is their forum. In this case Example > AVSIM = Yes to Freedom of Opinion. They let me write my opinion here about my MSFS forum post that got censored. The last screenshot i sent: Based on what happened, It supposed to be hidden due to code of conduct last year and exactly as i was saying, after posting the screenshot on here it was reported and hidden. I can criticize inconsistency here. If you apply a rule to user X, it must be applied everyone. Again this is not moderator problem because they are volunteered. This is something that needs to be resolved by higher level. Huge change in forum environment negatively since August 2020 which is understandable due to popularity. Now here comes the censorship part: I wrote: "Since my previous comment got censored. i am re-writing without the criticism part. I dont understand why they do not mention or say anything about it. Why MSFS2024 or 2020 as a flight simulator does not have advanced fov and triple settings? (Still in 2025). They did not even say “it is not our priority to develop more triple setup options etc, may be in the future” or “we know there are some niche with triple setups, we will look in the future etc” which is surprising." This was removed and this is what i called "despotism" and "censorship" from my point of view. Because the message i received from the moderator is kind of sound like i am protesting the moderators, which i wasn't. I have been warned before by other moderators and immediately fixed what was wrong and moved on. This case is different. I do not see anything wrong in my message (2nd one). May be apart from the word censored (what should i use instead flagged? Deleted? Removed? or against code of conduct? )? Now i need to go and explain to the moderator that i do not have grudge/hate against him/her. Edit: Communicated with the moderator and editing to be fair.

Correct with one problem. That did not had any response years ago which transformed expectations and wishes into criticism then into harsh criticism. Anyways the reason why i posted here not to discuss if i am right or wrong as it is not important and not related to topic. But it is good to see different opinions from different people what is considered censorship and what is not.

From my perspective, based on what i have just post, the answer is simple. No other options available other than official forums to push or wishlist wanted/needed features. Otherwise Avsim was the only forum i have been using until MSFS forums became online back in the days with MSFS 2020. E.g I had a topic for the white dot which came with one of the MSFS 2020 updates. Wishlisted it, lots of messages and finally it got changed. Similar case here, triple screen users (or some users) frustrated because of the lack of deployment of options for triple setups. it is hard to set it up, no fov etc. And worse in 2024 compared to 2020 Wishlisted it, raised their concerns and get no response or "Ghosted" if it is a correct term. No mentions. Any product i have either expensive or cheap, when i ask something i receive a response either positive or negative, (we have been asking for 5 years) in here, since it is the product's main forums, it is normal to expect some response instead of inconsistent censorship hiding behind code of conduct.

No problems. 3) My response to the moderator and the answer i received. 4) I re-wrote the message less harsh thinking being too much previously. Removed again by the same moderator. So, this is my personal opinion and i respect if someone thinks the opposite. Same moderator, removing/hiding the 2nd message is unacceptable. This is not code of conduct, this is despotism to me. BONUS: This is what i wrote 1 year ago and it is still there 😄. I think Code of Conduct was different before.

X-life only generates AI traffic and it is completely free if you do not care to have ATC and some deluxe features. For example i have created an airport for X-plane by using WED. Also did not act as a lazy developer and created full ATC taxi routes. So either x-plane own ai, or X-life ai can work out of the box. Only problem about X-Life is gate editor. Since X-Life gates are more detailed than X-plane (10.50 will fix that WED will have ICAO based classification) in some airports you need to manually correct it. So you can ask VS FSX? MyTraffic is better than x-life. WHY? because X-life just get an ai model and put it in the simulation, bu keep in mind that X-life is new born and will develop. Imao i do not care to see an aircraft belong a carrier not coming to that airport in real life. We have now traffic and by the help of all developers it will be more developed in the following years. Also keep in mind that X-plane development and community size is lower than FSX. So if the addon will be popular, it will grow.

with GTX 680 everything full and clicked except AA is FXAA. = 15-20 fps. I love the environment so much that i reject to lower graphics Edit: Forgot to mention, nvidia is better than ATI imao but new series may be better never tried them. (290x 290 vs vs)

i never use acceleration. only used acceleration while i was adjusting my default FSX 737 stats to transform it to a T7

My Longest Flight was from LTBA-KJFK in FSX with 737, 2-3 years ago (tweaked to 777 Stats (Range and Fuel Consumption and Speed) since there were no good & ez to install 777 present for FSX). It was the first stage of my World Tour Project in which i flew hundreds of airports around the world. Rules were simple, - Fly every location in a continent before proceeding another. (even flew to Falkland Islands ) - Check every country for popular airports, if more than one fly both. Ex : From Venezuela to Colombia then return to Venezuela etc. - Fly more than 1 point in huge countries. Like (New York, Miami, San Fransisco, Los Angeles, Seatle and 1-2 more in USA) - Always use real time, since i am from Turkey most of the flight in America continent was day instead of night - Shortest Flight must be 1 hour. So i started, from LTBA to KJFK 11 hours 40 minutes total flight time, from gate to gate. It was a sunny warm sunday. world tour ended after 2.5 3 years time. Those were amateur flight siminnig times since i was using default 737 in FSX, now in the near future i am coming for X-plane for my next sim. restart my sim education and learn better then another world tour with real 777.

Talking about Windows 7 64-bit. I think you have installed windows + antivirus + drivers + etc succesfully without any problems, and i imagine that your Pallit Geforce GTX680 card is not kinda faulty. So i think; Case 1 - What is your PSU and can it give enough power for the card? (i also think that you have connected all required power cables on the board and graphic card correctly.) Case 2 - There is something with your system so it cannot perform well enough. Check other games if any and check the FPS values menitoned in the sites like guru3d, anadtech etc. +- 5 fps is ok. Case 3 - Any problem with ram? Case 4 - Temperature. GTX680 comes with automatic downlocking. When your temperature increases your graphic card downlocks automatically, if i am not mistaken card tries to level power value so adjust speed volt etc. For example i used my graphic card 1.2k ghz over clocked for 1 month (as an OC test) but, because of the temperatures altough i am using water cooling with well ventilated fan i had temps like 80-85 degrees which i did not like. So check your temperatures. If temperature values are good and fps is normal at full graphics in the games like Cyrsis 3, Battlefield 3 (which i play good at my system) or benchmarks like 3dMark, Unigine Heaven etc and if there is no stability issue about the hardware (after some stress tests) i only think a software conflict or installation error. If you problem is more deep and requires better software knowledge i cannot help sorry, but if it is about hardware you can easily find the problem by stress tests and with a little research. I hope you can solve your problem without reinstalling windows + eveything + xplane etc i hate that kind of things

thanks for your supoort. today i v learnt that by using tools we can add autogen to xplane "openmaps" so? LTAC Ankara dont have scenery? No problem it is easy to do it. Bad thing is i cannot share it I have found out that developing scenery for xplane is better than FSX so my future sim is X-plane 10. Bored of FSX not giving me my computers full potential, to be honest my main reason to check x-plane 10 is being 64bit

Thanks to you guys so much for your replies. Comanche thank you so much for the screenshots. Those are more than enough for me. That LTBA is converted from FSX and kinda old. It is no problem for me, i play Battlefield 3 at full setting when i want graphics. Graphics in the screenshots satisfied me enough, especially Istanbul (LTBA) scenery is better than i expected. FSX kinda makes me mad, with i7 3770k, GTX 680 and 16gb ram machine with SSD on it for games and game cannot use it?! what the hell. X-plane gives 64 bit, ok then i ll buy it. Instead of Prepar3d it seems i ll buy Xplane. I will return to my hometown at summer (end of bussiness here) so i can start to build my amateur cockpit with xplane. Since xplane is newly developed from my point of view thumbs up for it. All i wanted to fly a 777 and enjoy it. As i said it seems xplane will full fill my request.
