  1. Great post, if only we had access to the FPPM book.... Just to clarify for anyone that is wondering, ERSA is the En Route Supplement Australia. This document is part of the AirServices Australia AIP and contains all relevant runway/communication/facilities/etc. information for the airports in Australia.
  2. When I logged in and saw the "We are removing functionality due to high load" I didn't have to read any further to know something like this would be going down. Can't wait to get flying!
  3. Thanks for another top quality video Kyle, really helping with the release anticipation.....
  4. Damn, you have confirmed my worst fears!! So there are 13 cycles/year, so that means about $20 per year for the data. If only he could make it into a computer based app, rather than a web-based one....
  5. NAT tracks are explained in the User Guide http://simbrief.com/system/guide.php About 1/4 of the way down the page. edit: I have just tried with the route "CPT UL9 DIKAS UL180 LESLU SOMAX NATF JOBOC N16A SAILE PLYMM" and it works perfectly. All waypoints from the NAT added to the FP without a hitch.
  6. It definately won't be in SP3, but the devs have said they are looking at amking it a separate (paid??) extension pack to the original 146 Collection base pack.
  7. Hopefully you can clear this up for me. On the bottom of the navigraph page, in reference to the SimBrief AIRAC, it says: "Contrary to other FMS Data files, access code are limited in time. An access code will enable use of the current AIRAC cycle during the current and the following cycle." This to me means, use the current cycle 1308, for the period of 1308 and 1309, then go back to the default SimBrief AIRAC. Is this correct?
  8. Luke, in you Vatsim FP remarks you have got "TMI 222" I have been racking my brains but I can't think of what this means, could you please enlighten me.
  9. I suggest you check out the Mauritius scenery by Max Kraus available in the AVSIM library. Really excellent scenery package and it's free! http://library.avsim.net/search.php?SearchTerm=mauritius_fsx.zip&CatID=fsx&Go=Search Ants Airports YBBN is also a great freeware package. http://antsairplanes.com
  10. Have you tried running "pseudo_full_screen.zip" from the AVSIM library. You are actually running in windowed mode, but it hides the start bar and the border of the FSX display, so it is like full screen.
  11. Cool shot-shows off the night lighting really well!
  12. Cheers for the pic Luke-much appreciated!
  13. OK, thanks for the answer James. I seem to remember that on the ACA YVR-SYD DVD, they put in a dotted "offset" line, so they wouldn't accidentally go further than 20nm L & R of track, while deviating around some weather. They then used HDG to fly around the wx and rejoined the route on the other side. I assume this is simulated as well, but it's obvious now that they are 2 different features.
  14. Kyle, quick question on that feature. After you have put the offest into the FMC, does LNAV automatically fly the offset route, or is it just there as a guidline(eg. if you ask for up to 10nm right of track for WX, so you don't go further off course) and you have flown over to it using HDG SEL?
  15. OzRunways is a pretty good app, I like the layout and features a lot. Never a truer word spoken!!
