Well, looks like I spoke too soon. Went to access AVSIM on tapatalk this morning and it wouldn't connect again, even though I'd succesfully logged in before. I suppose I'll just have to view the forum on my tablet's browser.

Not sure if Tom has done something, but I'm logged into tapatalk now. I followed the link at the top of the avsim page for "open in app" after I was logged in on the browser and it took me to avsim in tapatalk and I was able to login via tapatalk. Sent from my GT-P5210 using Tapatalk

Same issue here. I tap on AVSIM in tapatalk and it does the loading circle thing, then it says "Failed to connect to forum, please check with the forum administrator if the problem persists"

If I remember correctly Razbam are(were?) developing a PC-12.

It's a lot faster for me than before the HDD/RAID issues that AVSIM experienced. The forums also seemed to be quicker when they just returned (there were around 1500 users online), than now, when theres only 600ish online.

Not quite correct, the -110B is only available as an option on the -200LR and -F, the -300ER is only delivered with the GE90-115B engine. Only a two or three airlines IRL (Ethiopian and some cargo airline) use -115Bs on the -200LR or -F, so probably not worth PMDG's time to model it on that aircraft.

On the left hand side of the page, about half way down, there is a box that says "Flight/Tail#" Put your desired tail number in there and get the aircraft's flight history for the last 2 weeks.

Is this your first FTX product? If it is not did you have central set to default before installing FTX AU? If it is your first, are you switching to "Default" before flying outside australia?

Gabriel I'm having some trouble with the lens flare showing up in the VC. I've added the 2 lines of settings to both camera.cfg files, but it still won't show. I've tried various times of day in the sim and set up a similar scenorio to your VC shot in this thread, but it doesn't show then either. The enhanced effect works fine in exterior views, so I think I've installed it correctly. Any assitance would be much appreciated.

I've never had OOMs with AoN or the norway freeware package. Also Andrew's AoN has been nominated for the Flusinews.de freeware awards, vote for it here: http://feedback.simm...ndex.php/648765

OZx: Has small airfields in all states of Australia. Works best with FTX AU, but having it is not necessary. Also has airports in North America. Norway GA fields: Very good addon, works best with Norway freeware packages as described here, although not necessary. PNG Bush Flying: I don't have it myself (not really my cup of tea), but I've heard lots of good things about it North American Airstrips v1: Payware scenery from a dev who now works for ORBX Sim720: Some great stuff there That should keep you busy for a while.

I'm not sure if I've done something wrong, but on my FSX the shadows stay the same intensity at any setting above 5mi visibility, but at and below 5mi visibility there is no shadow at all. Apart from that, a great mod.

YSCB-YSSY a nice short route, plus good ATC on vatsim during monday nights(Aussie time)

Not sure if this will help, but I think its worth a shot. Grab HWMonitor and check what the voltages are under the mobo section. This will allow you to check if the PSU is supplying the correct voltages to the mobo and components. Also check if your PSU fan is working, as it may shutdown and stop supplying power if its too hot.

I usually drink a lot of water, as it keeps me hydrated and also makes me go for walks to the toilet. When flying with Emirates, I return to my seat via the rear galley, where the chocolate bowl is and grab some midnight snacks.

I think this is the same problem that I had a while ago. The issue is a corrputed or missing file called "fx_1.bmp" If you replace that file all should be good again. IIRC, I had to resintall FSX as I didnt have the file backed up anywhere.

If you want to overclock your CPU(I assume you are as you have the "K" version), you really need to get a Z87 chipset motherboard. If you're not going to OC the CPU, you can get the slightly cheaper i5-4670 and put the money towards a better GPU.

I would assume so, as FTXG only replaces textures. I don't have it though so I'm not 100% sure.
