  1. The current Jepp charts clearly show 06L/25R and 06R/25L, so your charts are possibly out of date. The one I am looking at was published in December 2016. So, now that we have partially identified the problem, I suggest you find the departure procedure you want to fly, and either program it manually, or use the trusted HDG and LVL CHG and just fly the damn airplane! :-)
  2. Yes, correct. Because your scenery and data in FMC appear to disagree what is in existence, and what isn't. You just may need to fly the departure manually.
  3. Both Jeppesen and Wikipedia disagree with you. We are talking about Sheremetyevo?
  4. If you have not chosen a runway, and are selecting departure procedure, that's the same. For "no runway", there is no valid departure to use. Select the runway first, and then try selecting the departure procedure. BST06E looks like one that may work for 06L.
  5. That means the selected departure is invalid for the selected runway. Not all departure procedures are available from all runways.
  6. I believe recommended zoom level is 0.7. I use that for C and FO views, and 0.9 for overhead and pedestal.
  7. Fair point. My primary reason for asking is that, personally, I like 747 most of the three, as it's not-so-automated as a T7, yet the simulation is superb. NGX is showing its age, and I find myself preferring 747 over 737 for that reason.
  8. OK, now seriously for serious. The expected 747 one, will it handle failures, as the 737 does, or will it be NP-only like the T7?
  9. Oh, look at that. They started using 64bit counters for time! At least something is v4 compatible there... :-)
  10. In all seriousness, 737 has been out for hours now, and the developer is refusing to release their other products. It's incredible, and unbelievable. I have never seen such awful behavior in my life. Terrible.
  11. And purchased. So... when's that 747 coming along?
  12. Ah, yes, sorry. This is that other thing, I keep forgetting the name of... Lufthansa thing. Anyhow, they do the same thing :-)
  13. Well, it's the developer and a businessman being honest with their customer base. There is an understanding that not all people in the world have unlimited pockets, and may operate on limited entertainment budgets. So, in order to maximize sale, when one highly anticipated product is released in a particular area of interest, it's generally not a good idea to release another, even unrelated, if you are ultimately competing for the same pool of Dollars. However, if you space these by some period of time, you end up maximizing the sale opportunity. It's really not rocket science. Why do you think Apple releases iPhones, iPads, and Macs on different schedule throughout the year, and not all-new-lineup all-at-once? ;-) That said, can we please have the 737 and 747 FS2Crew already? Ideally at the same time. Thanks! *grin*
  14. Note that Jeppesen does only incremental chart updates, not bulk as AirNav does. So, a chart from 2015 may be perfectly valid in the current cycle, unless it was actually changed.
  15. Very offtopic, but I salute your selection of videos. Icelander, and Iron Maiden fan in me is feeling good... #UpTheIrons
  16. I still use "Find Route", but mostly for amusement and bewilderment purposes. I tend to plan manually, mostly because it's the integral part of the flight for me.
  17. If I provide proof-of-purchase for DC6, can I please buy fs2crew for 737? :-)
  18. Oh, great. Yet another software forum I "have to" follow in order to find updates. Why do these developers even bother implementing version checks in their software if it doesn't work. *shakes head* Thanks for the pointer though. Much appreciated.
  19. Again, it must be a different tool, or I have no idea how to check for updates, as the latest my PFPX is reporting is 1.28, and their website shows the same. It has been many months since I installed that...
  20. We must use different tools then. Wasn't the last PFPX update about a yer ago, or nearly so?
  21. Quite frankly, I am upset PMDG modeled anything more than the inside of the cockpit. It's really impacting the performance, of what could be the awesome simulation. Then again, some folks prefer candy.
  22. We should probably discuss that in their forum, but just quickly. I am of the same opinion as you. I really hate "foreign window". They do have one, but it's up to you whether you want to use it, or not. I find it unobtrusive, and it's a good reminder of what I need to do nect. It's well done overall.
  23. It is my understanding that PMDG has not released the bundled, restricted, version yet. Support developers: buy a full version, or even better a full fs2crew, which includes RAAS. You will support an awesome developer, and get RAAS for all your aircraft.
  24. Whoa whoa whoa. Wait for the NTSB report, board inquiry. You can't just blame the pilot like that... ;-)
