Coincidentally, I have just received a notification on FB about a 35 OFF for one week for all MilViz products starting today. Too bad that neither the KA 350i nor the MU-2 Solitaire are ready and I have little interest in all military aircraft, because this would be a great opportunity. For those who are considering the B55 and the C310R, I can only strongly recommend this purchase. At -35% of their regular price, they are a steal.

I think nobody is circumventing anything here. There is no in-game footage yet. That simple. This does not mean DTG can or shall not release one in the next future. It is just a trailer. Please note that even the official trailer for FSX Steam was not an in-game footage. Where is the problem?

Hi Kat, thanks for your reply. I do have access to MilViz forum and searched again, but the topmost sticky in the B55 General Forum does not contain any useful link to download the new version. However, I received another reply in this thread: apparently the new B55 version is not yet completed and the notification for the new installer will be sent to all direct buyers soon. Thanks again.

I posted this in another thread. I bought the B55 directly from MilViz, yet, unlike for the C310R (notification received last night), I received no notification for the new installer for the B55. I also searched on their forum with no luck. Can someone please explain me where I can find the link for the download? Thanks in advance.

Since I run FSX-SE, the Reality XP WXR was not an option for me. All RXP products only run under FSX classic. Roland's tool works fine and is free. It took me a little time to have it tailored to my VC windows, but Roland was also very supportive and wasted a lot time in PM to help me have everything properly working. In general, I would stay away from a developer who produced top class products in the past, but now is no longer offering support nor replying to emails. Go Roland and go free, the tool is more than you need for a simulation. My two cents.

Same here. Sometimes Pro-ATC/X crashes mid-air without any apparent reason. Losing the frequency also occurs here from time to time. One thing I suggest you to do in such cases is watching the "Frequency to set:" in your Moving map, make sure the frequency is right, then switch COM1 to the alternative frequency and finally switch back again to the right frequency. In most cases this trick works and you get ATC back again from apparent snooze. No, sorry. This problem happens from time to time also with other aircraft. I am not using Airbus at all at the moment, yet i am experiencing the same problem. It is either a bug in Pro-ATC/X itself or related to the communication with the sim.

I only offered this quote as base for testing, since Vaughan asked how DIR-TO is supposed to work in real life on a real FMS 3000. The fact that Carenado's FMS 3000 is simplified is itself not disturbing, in my view. Honestly, if they offered a complete and fully functional FMS 3000, their product could not cost 39,99 USD. But DIR-TO must work. So, if it does not, they have the opportunity to fix this in their next release.

Having Holgi on board for Carenado repaints is something I would not even dare to dream. Welcome Holgi, but be aware that you could end up with a very long list of requests and a busload of work for your next two years. Think twice :-)

Still sitting on the fence for this bird. Based on the reviews I read so far, it is still unclear whether it is usable with the default navigation system or not. Is there anything else besides Direct-To that is not working properly or as expected? As Ray and others already know, I am far from being a fan of GTN 750 mods in business jets. One thing that caught my attention is that days after the release there is not one single video for the CJ2 on YouTube yet.

Pete, the best thing to do then is to perform a search within the whole registry for "Flight", "FSX", "Dovetail" and/or "Steam" until you find the culprit. If "Co-Existence" is set to "0", then there must be some "hidden" entry in the registry that makes FSX Steam to assume there is another previous FSX version installed and, as a result, to set "Co-Existence" to "1", which basically makes FSX Steam install itself in parallel and create "FSX-SE" folders. Don't launch the installer as long as you find the culprit.

Hi Pete, I only see three possible explanations: 1) you failed to completely remove each and every entry from the registry. Make sure it is set to "0". 3) You still have some old addon pointing to a ghost simulator folder. I even wrote a guide (in Italian, sorry) on another forum about how to install FSX Steam on the same disk without formatting. It worked for everyone, it must work for you too. Let me know.

That's a perfect example for what I have stated above. KPSP has no ILS, but has three published RNAV RNP approaches. Unfortunately, the GTN750 does not support RNAV RNP approaches, so you only have the VOR/GPS-B option for KPSP. The default Prodigy G1000 with Navigraph extension does support such approaches. Unfortunately the last version of the Navigraph extension released by Carenado for the Phenom 300 has FMC input problems along with other glitches with altitudes which I have been reporting to their support since October.

The Phenom 300 costs 39,95 USD. If you want the Navigraph extension (with full AIRAC support), you need to pay more 9,95 USD. That's all. The GTN 750 is a separate addon marketed by Flight1. It is fully optional and you can use it with a lot of aicraft, especially GA aircraft, either embedded or as 2D panel. It is not required for the Phenom 300, however most of users here on AVSIM like to use the Phenom 300 with the so called "Bet's mod", which includes the GTN750 embedded and some fixes to the autopilot. I don't, because you will lose VNAV and the GTN750 database (no matter how updated it is) misses several approaches, especially outside US. The autopilot problems have nothing to do with the navigation system in use. The GTN750 is simply coupled to the autopilot. If the autopilot is erratic, it will be erratic both with the default Prodigy G1000 and with the GTN 750. Actually Bert's mod, as far as I remember, also fixes some erratic behaviors in the autopilot, but this has nothing to do with the navigation system.

I don't even have the aircraft yet. But the sound looks really great (from a layman's perspective).
