Thanks for your quick replies. I don't use any AI traffic software. I specify that I set the landing runway in RC and that I never met an icecream truck when taxiing as IanHarrison did. I'll take a look on aismooth.

Just end a flight from LFLC to LFML(Marseille) runway 13(14)L with a 737 NGX. The runway was cleared but I met a 737 (as I'm a beginner with RC, I set ignore crashes in the realism parameters and set a lot of trafic and global trafic:96% ). At the flight critique, RC told me "Excellent,...." How is it possible ? Thanks for your help.

I found a solution, I'm not sure it's the good one, but it works everytimes: just load a cessna flight before to load my RC flight (usually a 737 NGX). Thanks for your help

Ronzie, Yes I set the flt/wx path in RC.I can see it in the RC options: .FLT/.WX Path = C:\Users\Utilisateur\Documents\Fichiers Flight Simulator X.

When I want, in Radar Contact, to load a saved flight, I can choose the right path and click on the good rcd file, but nothing happens and, after a while, I get a message "can't load xxx.flt" which yet exists in the same directory. Have I done something wrong ? Thanks for your help

I'm french (nobdy's perfect !) and newbie. As you can see, I don't speak fluent english. I just want to thank John for his patience to help me for the RC's installation which was very hard for me. I didn't know his personnal life's difficulties and I hope things will turn right for him. RC v.5 is certainly not a priority to have a good life. Thanks again François

Robin, I checked my fsx.cfg and I noticed once again that "your" line was present but my line was written HIGHMEMFIX = 1 and was not directly placed under [GRAPHICS]. I don't know if it is important but I made the changes. After 2 short flights at night, everything seems to work fine. I hope it is fixed now. Thank you very much. François

Thanks for your quick replies. I'm newbie but it doesn't seem there is an engine failure programmed. Except the ABS DISARM light, there is no light or warning in the overhead panel or any alert in the SD. I confirm that the smoke stops immediatly after I switch off the ABS.

Why is there so much smoke on engine 2 ? I can avoid it turning the AutoBrakes switch to OFF Position ( because the ABS Disarm light switched on). This is probably normal, but an explanation would be helpfull. Thanks.

I'm newbie and I begin flying the MD-11. Yesterday, I was learning the Advanced Tutorial Flight and I got exactly the same problem as you (I was using fast align for 15 seconds too). When I got the IRS message on the EICAS I read more deeply the page 10 : "IRS / CARGO FIRE Test If you haven’t already done so you should set the time the IRS needs to align to “Real Time” within the PMDG options menu for this flight (default option after installation). This is to prevent any alignment errors by not feeding the IRS position fast enough while reading through the instructions that follow." Doing that, I had no more problems with IRS and got no message. It is not the best solution if you are in hurry, but I hope it helps.

Tom, Thanks for your help. I fly MD-11 in FSX windowed mode and I don't use FS2Crew (maybe one these days). The issue doesn't seem to happen at day times. Most of the time, it's solved by going to VC Panel and back to 2D Panel and trying to expand (or not) the Auto Flight Control Panel.

All the troubles of VC Panel (NGX) and textures (MD11) are solved., since I've changed the texture_map_load to 4096, but sometimes the first issue occurs again. As scandinavian13 said, I'll reinstall only in last resort. Thanks everybody for your help.

The first issue still remains. Anyone to help me ?

(Maybe) since I've installed the MD11, I got VC panel display issue with 737NGX (every model/livery): blurry inscriptions, like this: It doesn't seem to be a FSX issue because there is no problem for other aircrafts (md11 or A320 for example) A little help would be appreciated. François

Thanks for your help: I've just bought this wonderful aircraft, but I get some display issues: The first one, the most annoying (but it happens only sometimes when expanding the Autopilot Flight Control Panel in 2D Cockpit): The second one: the blur texture only for the fuselage (everytimes for every pmdg livery): The last one, maybe a conflict md11/737NGX, since I've installed the md11, here is the 737's VC View, with blur map:
