Hello all, Not sure wether this is the right place but okay Just "installed" Aerosofts ARLANDA! into p3d (via the "here is the scenery files p3d, LOOK AT IT" way, which usually works great). BUt when I landed, I noticed how bumpy it was, and seeing as this isn't xplane, it was the bumpmap of landing on dirt. My 737 was very hard to get moving due to it. anyone else with tips or advice? Checked vector but to no avail. vkr victor Edit: I'm dumb dumb dumb.. arlanda!

Hello all After reinstalling p3d, I obviously couldn't do without the package of the 777. I noticed now that, even with the stock theme from fsfx, I don't get any volumetric light. Any tips on what might be the problem? Vkr Victor

Hello all First of all, I did this for a friend, whom I helped setup his fs, so this is more my responsibility . As the title says, when he reaches 20000, the fmcs turns off. Only thing that brings it back on, ja turning the generators of and on, and then only the right fmc goes on. Any tips?

Reading this thread, I also would like to test utx. However, I first need to de install vector and openlc somehow.,any tips on that?

Hello all The title is quite self explaining. All my burton configurations (which are a lot) stopped working after I set the AP disc button via the FMC. Did anyone else find a conflict there? Or am I the only one? Fscuip does recognise the button being presses, bur doesn't want to continue sending it. This also counts for the throttle from saiteck. But the button maped on the yoke to the ptt vpilot action, works perfectly.. Vkr Victor

Hello all Not sure where to put this, but seeing as I fly pmdg most of the time (and I like the forum) it made sense. Anyway, I had to turn on crashes for someone who came over and wanted to crash (sighs) and then I saw "flight model" setting. is this really a big setting. As in, the pmdg or the AS twinotter (theb 2 planes I fly most) behave different when using one fo the 2 settings? Any advice? vkr victor

Wow. there is a lot more to autoland then I thought.. I guess I have to go back in to the books now ?

thanks for the answers guys! . I meant when is best to disconnect? After rollout? Or really whenever I like to manual fly? (as in, when I'm ready). Vkr

hello all I recently read a post from Kyle that to fly more realistic, you should press the Autopilot disc button 2 times. But, I have a few questions about that. is there a key assignment, pure for disconnecting? -And, that is how it is done after touchdown? After the roll out is done? -So, what I do now (just moving the controller to the left till ti disconnects) isn't right (realistic)? -And will it work in the 777 (so I don't have to press the invisible click point)? vkr victor roos ps: just found this.. I'll take a look at it now How does that differ from the 777?
