Have set the Fergo CDU program to be run as admin and worked flawless! Really satisfied with the App on my tablet. Just wondering how long it takes until I want a physical CDU 😄

Thanks @polosim and @Noell, got the Fergo CDU as recommended. Easy install and nice first look, but after a few minutes of testing, MSFS froze. Restarting the server and web browser didn't help, MSFS still not responding. Can't even exit the sim 😄😄 I'll give it another try in a couple days when doing a regular sim flight. Hope it'll work 'cause a remote CDU is really really convenient I think.

Hey there, one of the things I really loved when I flew the FlyByWire A320neo in MSFS was the ability to have the MCDU on an external tablet. Is there anything similar available for free for the PMDG 737? I've found something called Axis and Ohs (AAO) but it's free for just 20 minutes 😅 Anything out there you can recommend? What do you guys use for having the FMC on an external device?

If everyone did so, Captainsim had to file for bankrupcy a long time ago 😄

FlyTampa's LGAV is really really good! I've got 29Palms' LGMK Mykonos aswell but I somehow regret buying it 'cause there are sceneries out there that got a bit more "immersion" and look better 😉

Does anyone know if the Bluebird 757 is planned to come with a Panel State save function? This (alongside some other things) is a k.o.-criteria for me and the reason why I always went for PMDG airplanes in previous sims. I'd rather get the 757 instead of PMDGs 777 because I can do transatlantic flights with both of them but only the 757 is small enough for some nice places to fly like LOWI Innsbruck, LGSK Skiathos, LGMK Mykonos, EGHI Southampton, ENML Molde, etc...

PFPX only comes with a limited amount of aircraft templates by default, that's right. However there are templates for many aircraft types available on the internet. For example there was no A310 template in PFPX I needed for the iniBuilds A310 release but found one online ✔ I've never used the fuel tracking function in PFPX cause I have always been happy with the fuel predictions PFPX gave me. Those using simbrief can track their calculated fuel and actual fuel consumption in MS Excel. Not sure if you can set that fuel bias in Simbrief somewhere at the specific airframe settings..?

Well summarized! The fuel burn issue can be easily solved by everyone individually. Just track your fuel burn on your flights in PFPX and it'll calculate a percentage of +/- fuel burn for each airframe. This penalty is considered on every further flight in PFPX automatically. One of the 100 things why PFPX is still a way better flight planning solution than simbrief in my opinion.

That's true! Africa, Asia and the Middle East got soo many nice placed I'd love to fly to. Unfortunately, I haven't found any very high quality airport scenery (like Flightbeam, FlyTampa, Pyreegue, Jetstream Designs, ...) around DXB within a 737-range yet.. Sure, FSDG got some very interesting destinations and FSDG makes good addons but I would consider them to be one level below the aforementioned Devs.. Maybe I'll give some of their destinations a try when they are on a 30 or 40% sale and if I have a decent 777... Oh boy, Plate-Carrée-Projection can be misleading. Distances in Africa are insane! OMDB to GOBD (Dakar) or to FACT Cape Town both 4100nm each (about 9-10hrs of flight?), OMDB to Seychelles and Maldives 1700nm (4hrs?). Still remains the issue that only in Europe VATSIM ATC schedules planned online times. If I flew to those 8 destinations from Dubai, I will most likely have not a single human ATC to talk to 🙁

I'm just asking 'cause in the aforementioned video and on my system it's under the following path: C:\XboxGames\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Content I've got the Microsoft Store version of MSFS. Not sure though why you don't have the "merge" option when right-clicking the .reg file? 🤔

Nvidia drivers up to date? Restarted your PC after copying the two dlls and the merging of the DisableNvidiaSignatureChecks.reg file?

Have you sucessfully completed the first step in the readme? 1. Right click on "DisableNvidiaSignatureChecks.reg" and select "Merge". Click "Yes" when the dialog opens. ... and did a restart of your PC? ("Zusammenführen" im Kontextmenü.)

I had all of those three settings and all set as shown in the video. You're not seeing it, right? You've asked about "NVIDIA DLSS FSR" before and just to avoid any confusion... 1.) Should NVIDIA DLSS FSR be selectable under "ANTI-ALIASING"? Then no, I could not choose it from the list. 2.) Do you mean "NVIDIA DLSS FRAME GENERATION" by NVIDIA DLSS FSR, then yes, I had the option as shown above and turned it to ON.

Got the Windows Locale "de_AT" and I haven't had "NVIDIA DLSS FSR" either. When I had the nvngx_dlssg.dll in my content folder and I launched MSFS, I got a popup window with a warning message which I confirmed with "yes" and the sim started normally subsequently.

Ok that could be why this mod isn't working for me. I've always used the in-sim FPS display in the dev mode to show numbers for performance tests. Never used any other tools 😅 I've just clarified in my original post that these settings are my old ones. Of course I've tried with everything on ultra settings with the mod as this is one of the two things this mod is about 😉 My guess for not seeing results on my side is, that my FPS always CPU limited and rarely cause my RTX 3060Ti can't keep up. Probably those who were always GPU limited see the best results?

For testing the mod, I had DX12 enabled and I also had the AMD FSR 2 option as per your screenshot. Those settings on my three screenshots are my "old" ones before I tried the mod. 😉 Thanks for asking günseli, just clarified it in my post 👍

Gave it a try and it's a bit of a disappointment for me. I got a i5-12400F, 16GB RAM and a RTX 3060 Ti with Windows 10 22H2. Checked my FPS in the PMDG 737-800 Cockpit at gate F23 in Gaya's LOWW scenery and I had 50-55 FPS when looking around in the cockpit horizontally with no tearing, no microstutters and super sharp displays. FPS Main Thread Limited. DX11. Settings in MSFS were all set to high. Nvidia Control Panel vsync was set to "use setting for 3D application". Installed the mod with graphic settings as per the Youtube video @SierraHotel has linked to (except Terrain LOD on 100 as before as this gave me by far the most FPS in the past with no noticeable visual difference) and ended up with 45-50 FPS in the exact same scenario and with microstutters, tearing and a little blurry PFD, ND and other displays in the 737. Still "main thread limited". Vsync in NVIDIA control panel set to "ON". EDITH: used DX12 as per the video. I'll revert back to the previous state 👍 If someone's curious what settings gave me a better performance and better visuals than with this mod, here they are: EDITH: This is the state before I tested the mod and with which I was very very happy for 8 months now without any CTDs and other issues etc. 😉 If anyone's interested in my NVIDIA Control Panel settings too, just let me know and I'll post them (screenshots are in german only but a translation to your preferred language is quickly done 👍).
