Next time keep an eye on the dialogue box and might help you understand the cause. Maybe P2A didn't understand your last readback and didn't advance to the next phase. Sometime I have to laugh at the things P2A thinks I said when I am mumbling readbacks.

Is there a way to combine numbers in the call sign? For example with Southwest 3254, P2A says/understands 3-2-5-4 instead of 32-54 like in real life. I thought it was possible in the past but I might be confusing it with Radar Contact. From the manual it seems there is option 1 only.

2.2.1.2 Fixed all the issues I had reported before, great job! I imagine this is the intersection of three center coverage areas. Somewhere between KBUR and KEDW I notice P2A always trasfers me to center then immediately tranfers me to another center, that before I can even readback the first. No big deal though.

It is all good now. I did a System Restore to a previous date then reinstalled 2.2.1.2 and it works now. No idea what was that about.

I have the same issue. I also noticed that pressing the weather button shows the weather for the airport so it downloaded the data, but it is not going to ATIS. It takes a couple of minutes of "Weather not currently available..." before ATIS gets the weather.

I wasted two years tuning my AMD micro and gcard, disregarding as ###### anyone claiming Intel/Nvidia was better for FSX. Finally built a new Intel/Nvidia system and greatly improved performance.

You should check their forum and the demo. I only flight IFR but I have seen the question about VFR and uncontrolled airports answered. It seems to work, but never tried myself since I do not know how to flight VFR. Have in mind it is in active development and new features are added almost every month, so take old posts with a grain of salt. The only issue I had with voice recognition was finding the correct level for the mic, but I haven't adjust it again for over a year after finding the right spot. Once you get familiar with the correct phraseology it just works. But it does have a learning curve. I only use two microsoft voices (W10) but it doesn't bother me. Heck in Pilotedge you may get the same person controlling all freqs in your flight.

Radar Contact is good but I moved to Pilot2ATC v2. Very happy so far.

I repeated same flight tonight and in approach again map went blank and ATC silent. After landing ATC gave long stream of instruction from were it stopped. Flight plan: KCMA FIM PMD DAG JOMIX1 KHND

Today I tried 2.2.1.1 from Camarillo KCMA to Henderson Executive KHND. All went well until trasfered to approach. I noticed the map went blank and atc stop talking. I continued on my own and after landing ATC resuscitated and started shooting nonstop instruction from were it left off. I have encountered this issue in previous versions as well. Not sure if the map stopped in the previous occasions because I ussually minimize the map or P2A. Is P2A hanging because it is waitting for the map provider to update? Can we have the option to just stop the map? I never use the map at all. Does P2A need the map to function? I am running P2A on a remote PC where it is the only program running. It is an 8 core AMD, not a slow PC, my FSX PC is an Intel 7700k at 4.6. I am suspecting the P2A hangings are related to its internet connection.

I think something changed in the acceptable phrases in 2.2.1.1 causing the "Aircraft calling. Call back with call sign." Before, I used to readback the clearance and say my callsign at the end. If I do that now it only listens to half of my readback. But if I say "Callsign is clear to ..." it then understands the readback and clearance delivery sends me to ground.

Have you try adjusting the mic volume? Too low or too high will cause it to misunderstand.

Today I filed a flight plan from Oakland KOAK to Burbank KBUR: CNDEL3 CISKO RDHOT ROKKR1 The flight was perfect and P2A was awesome but something seemed a bit off. After takeoff I was transfered to departure and departure immediately told me to expect the destination START and APPROACH I filed. I appreciated the advanced notice but I was wondering if that would happen in real life, I wasn't even at 10,000 yet.

I confirmed it. I had the same thing happen. It stopped responding so I continued my flight assuming it crashed, then I received a dozen messages in a row.

Thanks Dave, I will try another SID with vectors. It wasn't an issue, I was just wondering if I did something wrong. I guess in low traffic conditions ATC will just let you fly the SID. Low traffic is not the norm at klax and listening to liveatc I noticed ATC giving vectors to KLIPR, that's what prompted my question. orcka1 is a new SID for KLAX, you can find the chart in skyvector. NavDataPro included it in their last update and P2A listed as a one of the SIDs.

Flying out of KLAX I filed SID ORCKA1 It went well but it wasn't super realistic. ATC left me alone to flight the SID without issues, transfering me from tower to departure then to center. But in real life for this SID you get vectors to KLIPR. Is this how P2ATC normally works or do I have the wrong settings?

After exiting the runway you report to tower something like "clear of active callsign" (don't remember the exact phrase). But I have very little succes with tower understanding this phrase, I have to repeat it several time or use sayit. Then tower will tell you to contact ground, then request ground taxi instructions to your gate.

I had been using the old version 1.4 in FSX for a while with no issues but I cannot make 2.0 work right. I am taking off from kslc and I see planes lost taxing in circles in a spot. There are planes landing in both directions and I even saw a plane taking off right through a landing plane. I think it might have to do with AI monitor giving me a long list of airports with errors. These airports worked fine in 1.4.
