  1. Aerosoft CRJ is first on the list.If you don't read the manuals and/or watch some good videos then don't try to fly it. Your errors will reflect poorly on your determination to fly a plane without an autothrottle, good systems, a very worthy FMC and a top quality EFB. The FBW, A320 is very simple to fly.Well assuming you've flown them in prior flight sims.
  2. Or Traffic Global or MyTraffic both of which I used for FSX/P3D. Real world schedules etc. In time and I suspect Traffic Global will be the first.
  3. People need to read up on this plane, the manuals, and watch some Youtubers . Today was a great flight - ESMS to LOWW, captured the LOC and flew the ILS on the numbers. One of the best flights I've ever had on this plane. I would caution people flying this plane, because there are so many clickable areas and when you are panning with the mouse it is possible to click off buttons and levers and before you know it something isn't going right. This happened today a couple of times. I accidently shut off the NAV and didn't notice until the plane was leaving the leg. I was dreading and thinking was this the dreaded issue which was occuring with the P3D version? Until I realized my panning and clicking in the cockpit shut it off. This also occurred with the AP though that was easier to tell because of the aural sound. Another oddity, when I noticed I hadn't put on the FD on the co-pilot's side in-flight, doing so disengaged the AP. The FMS on this plane is great, the EFB, the overhead panel etc. It is complex in that it requires your attention to the details of setting it up and flying. Whenever I have to spend sometime setting the plane up for the flight I know it's a plane worthy of flying. Insofar as the LOC and APPR just make sure on the left panel where you switch the source (for example FMS) that when you are on your final that it is set to LOC all green along with the APPR button.
  4. Weren't you the guy bragging that he didn't have any OOMs with FSX ( despite the thousands of others who did) and therefore the experience was better than P3D with its 64 bit incarnation which you were berating?
  5. Good for you. I play them and see your cruddy beta work. Listen just because you 'worked' with sims doesnt make you anything more than having an opinion. An opinion by the way which should be tempered with this sim given your alleged 'experience.'
  6. And I've simmed this series since Sublogic days and my C-64. So what's your point?
  7. We're in a different planet then. This is a complex sim which larger portions were re-written and depends on Azure for a lot of data. Don't think your experiences covers this by a country mile.
  8. No it isn't. You fully knew well that they would be updating the scenery, airports, etc. Anybody with an ounce of sense with a complex sim like this and given the long history of flightsimming updates, refinements etc. knew this would be the case. Sounds like you're not cut out for the long haul.
  9. I'd set the knob to 1/2 bank. I did and no issue.
  10. I remember there was an issue of pressurization with the P3D version that not advancing the throttles to TOGA would not initialize the pressurization system properly. Did anyone know if this was fixed?
  11. Whatever the elevation to your airport is your landing at.
  12. Did you set the landing elevation of the airport at pre-flight.
  13. Ok so flew a SimBrief plan from CYVR to KSFO. The plan loads in this folder:C:\Users\XXXX\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Official\OneStore\aerosoft-crj\Work_Defaults. In the FMS it loads in the Route area of the FMS. Remember to EXEC the flt plan after inputting the other data and deleting the discontinuities. Unlike the first several months of this CRJ in P3D, which from time to time the plane wouldn't capture a waypoint and off it went, the flight flew the waypoints perfectly. Used NAV and VS. Had no problem bringing it in but I hand flew it in to KSFO 28R for a nice landing. The performance page on the EFB has all the takeoff and landing speeds which you can automatically set. This is a much better plane than P3D in every way and as far as I'm concerned there is really nothing which touches it including the modded FBW A320. That may not be saying much at this point but that shouldn't detract from a plane which finally is worthy of being the first commercial jet worthy of its place in the pantheons of planes modeled for FSX/P3D/MSFS.

  15. Yeah. Nice feature..with Mathijs Kok as the easter egg!
  16. Love this plane. Worth every penny. The most complex plane yet and probably for some time given the snails pace of some other developers. The EFB is great. Systems are bloody nice. Model is super. Loaded on the MS site in one minute and installed itself - and for that ASOBO/MS gets high praise. No longer necessary to go out of the system. In fact I like it way better than the P3D version though it may have updated the last time I used P3D - which was well over a year ago. I can't get over this EFB. The CHECKLISTS, PERFORMANCE, AIRCRAFT, MAINTENANCE and OPTIONS pages. Bravo for incorporating all these pages in the EFB. Opening the door and stairs, GPU, aircraft states, etc. The FMS with the loading flightplan from SimBrief and it's numerous features on perf/init. I'm just digging back into the several documents for the plane. I'm giving a big thumbs up.
  17. I enjoyed this plane for P3D and I'll be buying it and any variants liveries etc. Hopefully their Airbus series will be in the cards down the road.

  19. The world is alive. Airports (at least before Covid) have bustling crowds, people in lines, waiting for boarding and boarding, exiting/entering in jetways/stairs,etc. This is not an all our nothing thing. GSX has the idea which will be brought to MSFS. This takes care of a lot of the externals. Developers who cover the internal going ons of the terminal are doing great work as the realism quotient is elevated in this sim.
  20. It's all about realism and this is another added level to the great basic sim provided by MSFS.
  21. And that's where the addon developers come in....As long as ASOBO/MS continues the basic infrastructure and development perfecting it will always been in a vibrant addon development community. Then it becomes a synergistic process.
  22. Bad comparison. MSFS has explicitly made a commitment of 10 years at least with this franchise which is the direct successor to the FS series. They have the means, infrastructure and resources. And Dove Tail Games? lol.
