  1. I know these are 42-300s, but it would be great to see these liveries for the Carenado A72-500! https://www.airliners.net/photo/Inter-Canadien/ATR-ATR-42-300/173436?qsp=eJwtjEEOgzAMBP/iM4dWSFXhVj4Ah37AclZtpBQi24cixN9JaG%2B7O9rZSJbZ8fXnmkE9GVjlTQ1lVv4Y9Rtx1BTnCttLd%2B8Ks0V9WMsQ2PEQQXaE/z5qgFYEk1Pzqs9rjdDp19pbqSFaTnxa4BwT7fsB12UtWA%3D%3D https://www.airliners.net/photo/Inter-Canadien/ATR-ATR-42-300/73007?qsp=eJwtjEEKwkAMRe%2BStQulILa7egFdeIGQ%2BdiBsR2SLCyldzcd3D3e4/%2BNZJkdX3%2BtFTSQgVUmOlFl5Y/RsBFnLXk%2BYnfub300W9Tva4jEjlEE1ZH%2B/qEJeiSYtJt3LC8B0Gdj6q7hU7ZauH3AORfa9x%2BKLi0U https://www.jetphotos.com/photo/7149520#modal-large-photo https://www.jetphotos.com/photo/6031714#modal-large-photo Awesome if someone has time for us Canadians! : p Thanks, Braden
  2. Hello, I would like to note that there was also a process I found which fixed my issue for the radar to work properly in the Milviz DHC-2 Beaver Virtual Cockpit. This worked for me. The update, as it is said in the previous post, fixes it as well. The Milviz/REX WX Advantage Radar product was to be installed. A totally separate product from the Milviz DHC-2 Beaver. I ran the gauge installer, added a WX Advantage Radar Panel to the MilViz DHC-2 Beaver. I then copied the WX Advantage Radar gauge file, MV_WX.dll from my main FSX\Gauges folder to the DHC-2 Beaver Milviz\panel folder. The MV_WX.dll is version 1.12.0.38, which is a separate version from the Milviz DHC-2 Beaver's original MV_WX.dll file. Please take note that this is only my personal fix! and Please always follow OFFICIAL Milviz instructions and support! Have a great one! Braden
  3. Same issue as well. Able to fix without installing SODE?? Great help would be prime.... if so Thanks Braden
  4. I agree with you. The prop ignition sound in some Carenado aircraft just loop over and over. The sound is also the same in each aircraft. It makes it hard to believe that there's a correct immersion, specific to the aircraft. They could have put a bit more work to specialize their products. It is especially annoying when you are trying to start up an unstartable engine with no success and the sound just plays in 5 second loops, never changing! Anyways I feel that I am complaining too much about great work, so I will say no more! : p Thanks! Braden
  5. Yeah, I agree there. Even though FSX is old and DTG has put focus on newer apps and their games, well there should be someone there taking care of issues that may come. (???) Very much especially when they buy the rights to the application and redistribute it. I believe it still should be looked after no matter what. What can we do? Just rely on users to do their work? Okay then! FSX is very popular and will collect rust as time goes on. DTG should realize that even though it is older, repairs or updates need to be put in place so it doesn't just end up in the junkyard! (not literally! lol) I think our community is so vast and there are people who take their time to help us experience FSX as it is; this is why I appreciate everyone here. Keep up the great work everybody! Greatly important to always keep us all informed of comments and issues you may have, so we can experience what is ours! 🔨✈️🤗 Braden
  6. Hello everyone! I was wondering if there are any issues that need attention with the gshome.spb fix version 2? I ask this because I have been running into some script error issues myself. If you have no problems with it, excellent! I would like to find a way to resolve the home screen display error(s) that comes with FSX: Steam Edition. Personally, I want to see what (I believe) should be there. The store's home website page is 99% of the time the home screen we see. Thanks to everyone who uses the fix, shares it, fixes it, etc..... ....and of course, I appreciate any comments you may have! It's grateful to help contribute to the Flight Sim community! BTW: I want to thank AVSIM for the help their Forums hold and the AVSIM Library where everyone shares their great work with us all! Thanks! Braden
  7. No problem CB_Pilot! Thanks for your feedback, Braden
  8. NOTE: This fix was made for users that have issues with their FSX: SE Home page content not appearing when online. If you have no issues you don't NEED it, but you can try it out as it is interactive. Comments? Let me know if you need any help! Thanks, Braden
  9. Try out this fix which will update your home page in FSX:SE to the correct one. I have sent the same file here to the Avsim Library and will be available soon there, or follow the direct link to it below. This will help with the script errors as well and it is a copy and paste procedure for installation. The original file is also included in the zip so you can rename it if it doesn't work for you. Enjoy! Thanks, Braden Bogdan gshome.spb_fsxse_fix_V2

  12. Okay!! Did it again and worked for me! I compiled a new version of gshome.spb to use with FSX: Steam Edition. 🤗 The zip file will be available soon at the Avsim Library ***NOTE: It will say Version 2 on the new file! Wait to download gshome.spb_fsxse_fix_V2.zip otherwise you will download my last fix, which will not work!*** Same instructions. Follow readme.txt for more. Thanks! Braden Bogdan
  13. Anyone having this issue again?? I noticed that the update made is not working anymore. So searching on the web I noticed the page does not exist! Just want to know if anyone else is having this issue again. I will try to fix it again and let you all know again. Braden
  14. Just re-installed my boxed version of the Aerosoft F-16 in FSX:SE and realized there were absolutely no panel.cfg files!! Reading this, I determined that you do have to rename the panel.cfg.xpack files to panel.cfg. Answered my question! Thanks jmalaca!!! 👍 Regards, Braden
  15. Here at FlightSim.com found a few WestJet 2018 new liveries. They are for the TDS Boeing 737 MAX8 and Skyspirit 2010 767-300 models though. 19. I fly mainly in Canada, so Paris and London is like Seattle and Vancouver for me! Saying that, killer performance flying any aircraft now especially in areas like Calgary or Edmonton. As aircraft, I am speaking of the Aerosoft A320 and PMDG 737NGX. I am not using the vc shadows for now. It seemed like a hog on my VAS and FPS, so I left them off. Reflections and light effects are amazing though. FPS is great (~35-50), but when switching views I get slow texture loading issues. Waiting for CTDs when that happens but okay as long as I don't push it too far! Yeah, so the thing to do now is for me to not touch my settings!! No use trying to tweak something that works, right? lol Braden
  20. Flew the Aerosoft Twin Otter from CYVR to CYQQ (Vancouver-Comox, BC) with no tearing, consistent performance throughout, ~28-40 FPS (set to unlimited). All-in-all it was amazing! My 2nd flight was in the A2A C182 from CYXX to CYVR (Abbotsford-Vancouver, BC) with better results. Quality + performance = very nice! Even though my CPU was running warmer than DX9, it was undeniably better than the latter. Truely: ~29-65 FPS (set to unlimited)!!!! Nice! My initial thought of DX10 was that it wouldn't perform as well as DX9 and blocky textures would appear everywhere. But that was not the case at all! Using the DX10 Fixer with everything I have, it makes a big hit towards rating it as A+. I am satisfied. Yeah... performance, stability and quality were amazingly better than what I was getting with DX9. Anti-aliasing looked to be an issue, the FSX aircraft preview windows look terrible (anti-aliasing wise), but that was not the case in-game. Again, A+. Braden
  21. Well after ALOT of tweaking, starting/restarting FSX, etc.... I have setup FSX to the best I can get it for now! Yay! How??? -DirectX 10! -nVidia Inspector! -Steve's DX10 Scenery Fixer v3.2! WAY better than DX9, but.... FPS not as high. No v-sync problems at all! My KSEA PMDG 737NGX VC FPS was around 15 fps low and 33 fps max. Good enough for me until P3D v4!!!! Even though the performance isn't as well as it was before, I have stopped my tweaking for now and gonna start flying!!! I will keep you all up-to-date if I find a superfix or way around the 1803 downgrade. But for now, I want to fly. : D Later! Braden
  22. Windows Defender is my AV and had no problems with it. There are definition updates about every 2-3 hrs or so, which is okay to me. I do a manual check often through Windows Update at startup or before restarting after an install or uninstall. It instantly finds malware and has saved my word not allowed a few times. Captain Sim and Milviz Config. Managers are most often detected by anti-virus as trojans, even though they are 100% safe (I buy my add-ons so I know I am safe there!). Exclusions can be added for safe, detected programs. Anyways, still trying to get a good balance between fps and quality for DX10. I am almost certain that a complete reinstall of my whole CPU is going to take effect soon, but a few more tries before that for me! Braden
