FS24 IMPORTING SETTINGS FROM MSFS 2020?
I remember being unable to transfer my FS9 settings to FSX. It was a day of setting the sim up. Come to think of it FS98 didn't transfer to FS9. Standard for the course.

MSFS 2024 Is Growing On Me
Two things got me. The changing and correct airplane registration depending on location. And the windshield getting dirtier as you fly.

Are there seasons in msfs 2024?
Montana is looking accurate save the evergreen/deciduous mix is off and trees appear where they aren't. It's most definitely late fall here.

Back to MSFS 2020. I hate this stupid GUI
This was my experience too. Still figuring it out but like every version of the simulator there are new things. Don't talk to me about setting FS9. I just have to be more aware of setting when switching between aircraft. The amount of tweaking to each aircraft is amazing.

Back to MSFS 2020. I hate this stupid GUI
First thing I've done in both 2020 and 2024 is set my hat switch to work like it did in FS98 for both internal and external views, another button to reset and one to switch internal and exterior views. It's worked for over three decades now and still works

If MSFS 2024 has installed and WORKS for you comment here
Got in three times today. The Hercules is the same as in 2020 but the water effects are wonderful. Cessna works about the same. I remember setting up FS9 and FSX with their control settings and this is nothing new. Fly until you're missing a control and go ahead and add it. I've got a solid mid tier system and so far it's running great even at high settings. The only thing I've done to prepare is to upgrade to 64mg of RAM. Can't wait to do more.

Will you keep using MSFS 2020?
I'm very tempted to backdate 2020 to the 1930's for my vintage flying and keep 2024 as my modern sim. I did that with 2004 and FSX.

FS-Trains north america released in marketplace
Seemed to bork my system. Lots of trouble shooting and the addon seems to be the culprit. Darn I was looking forward to it.
