First: I have raised a support ticket already.Dear Flight-Simmers!I have found an issue with severe FPS Loss from 60 FPS in VR and also 2D Dislay, down to 20 FPS and even less, when changing the ND DIsplays ranges AND only occuring when FIXES are set.In my case 2 ETOPS: HKJK and HTKJ on my route from OMDB to FMEE.HKJK 1108 (Put in FMC as HKJK and /1108)HTKJ 1113 (Put in FMC as HTKJ and /1113)Important: Fixes do not always cause FPS loss. When I used these fixes with other smaller and bigger parameters then /1108 and /1113, I did not have any issues. In my case I had them with exact these numbers and at one other flight also at KSFO arrivel with KSFO fix set and with /15, /11 and /6 (no Bearing, only Distance) set in FMC (to get Dotted green lines to be aware of for Flaps Settings). My Route:OMDB/12R N0494F340 ANVI5G ANVIX DCT GIDIS G783 UKRAG/N0494F350 L710 MEMTU/N0494F340 L710 DEDSO/N0490F360 R401 SUHIL/N0482F350 DCT AMBAN/N0476F370 UM314 NIBIS NIBI1R FMEE/121) I started a flight at Gate B10 OMDB. Loaded the flightplan via SimBrief in the FMC. My Default startup is a stored startup Profile (stored it with the name "Apron") at which all cockpit knobs etc. are set to my wishes. APU is running, engines are off.2) Did my Preps and taxied for Departure via 12R3)Took off and flew my departure route. At 8000FT i activated the AP4) During CRZ I changed the ND Display Ranges from 80 to 320. All good so far.5) When I reduced the ranges, with every range change (320 - 160 - 80 - 40 - 20 etc, etc) my FPS dropped significantly from 60FPS down to 20. The FPS drop has a bigger impact, when all ND Displays show the ND as MAP or PLAN). In my case the First Officer and Captain.6) When I increased ranges up again, FPS came partially back. Allthough never to 60 FPS again, but somewhere between 40 and 45 FPS. The bigger the range, the higher the FPS. This is reproducable.7) Turning of the ND displays via FMC PMDG Settings did completely solve the issue, till turning the Displays on again.😎 Switching the ND Display to any other mode then Plan or MAP, also brings back the FPS partially, but not as it was beforethe issue occured9) Nothing helped eliminating the issue (Weather Radar on/off, Traffic on/off, Terrain ON/OFF etc.) TILL I had the Idea to delete my set fixes completely within the FMC. That solved my issue completely, FPS back at 60 FPS!Entering the fixes again, reproduces the severe FPS drop and latency lag. Deleting them again, all fine.In my case it didn´t matter if the FIX Circle green lines are seen (displayed as green dotted lines within the ND set range) or not. As soon as they are entered in the FMC, the FPS drops.I hope you have enough information to find the real cause. Thanks in advance.I am using the latest version 2.0.36RegardsMarcus

We shut down the system at 12:20 p.m. today to bring online a number of fixes to our forum core software. There are too many of them to list, but suffice to say that editor issues, rebuild issues, numerous mobile issues, and so on. All are important of course, but most important to us is the improvements in handling the databases. We hope to see a continuing improvement in response times. If you see any bugs (not feature requests), please report them via our tracking system here: Forum and Library Bug Tracking System

For the most part, I'm really enjoying the great scenery in Alaska. Every now and then I come across some incomplete graphics, but this one is a beaut. The mighty Yukon river is blocked between Ruby and Galena (Pitka). After following it's underground track a few miles, it resurfaces again. I hope there still are some maintenance staff who can fix some these glitches. A side note: I created a flight plan to follow the complete Iditarod trail, from Anchorage to Nome, landing at all 30 checkpoints in my Cub. You really gain an understanding of what a huge undertaking this is with a sled dog team. Doing it with my Cub at 90 MPH is taking quite a while.
