Hello, I can't install the 777 because the installer tells me "unable to locate fsx.exe. Unable to install." I fixed the registry entry (both using tools and thereafter manually), reinstalled FSX, opening the installer in admin-mode. Since the 777 doesn't work with Prepar3d (without any notice on the product page!) and I had to "downgrade" to FSX to use the bird, I'm getting quiet annoyed that it still doesn't work. Any ideas? Thanks for help in advance!

Hi, I am learning to start from cold and dark startup and i'm doing pretty well. However, I get to the part to start up the APU but nothing happens. I have seen where once you have enabled the start the APU switch will automatically turn to ON. In my case, I turn the knob to start and it just sits there and nothing happens. No matter how long I wait, the APU generator switches never light up to "available". Hopefully you can help me with this frustrating problem. It could be user error, but then again I might not have added everything when I first downloaded the PMDG 747-400. Any help is appreciated. Jared

Hello - I opened a ticket but am wondering if there are any other users who have a similar issue(s)? After installing the product, I ran the Ops Center to download a livery, then ran FSX. Upon loading the aircraft for the first time, was asked to activate. Every time I enter my activation code, the popup quickly loads up until "Context Created" but then hangs here. A few seconds later I receive the Unable to Connect to Activation Server error message. Yet, I have an internet connection perfectly fine. Support already responding advising my Port 8888 is blocked. However, I tried again without any firewall or antivirus running, as well as trying to enable it through Windows Firewall (Forward traffic) and it still did not work. They also advised for me try by tethering my smart phone but I am unable to do that either. Any ideas? Thanks!

Hello - I have opened a ticket, but in the meantime, did anyone else have this issue / know what to do? After installing the product, I ran the Ops Center to download a livery, then ran FSX. Upon loading the aircraft for the first time, was asked to activate. Every time I enter my activation code, the popup quickly loads up until "Context Created" but then hangs here. A few seconds later I receive the Unable to Connect to Activation Server error message. I have an internet connection and tried turning off the Firewall and antivirus, but still did not work. Support responded the issue may be to Port 8888 being blocked. "The activation window attempts to connect to license.precisionmanuals.com on port 8888." However, I am not connecting with a router. I do not know how to make sure this port is open or what I need to do? Should I uninstall and try it again? Thank you for any insight.
