July 18, 200322 yr Robert I think you flatter some of the clowns that inhabit this and other forums by referring to them as 'Captain'. Most of the bilge dwellers who gripe on endlessly about this is wrong and that is wrong and oh it costs way too much would be honoured to more accurately be referred to as 'cleaner'.When the patch is ready deliver. Until then Test Test Test.Andy BEdited to add a target for the bilge dwellers. Andy Brockbank

July 18, 200322 yr Ray,I am not over-reacting to PMDG. I was just talking directly to Hugo. I cannot really use the 737 due to the massive amount of memory it uses which in turn is causing my system to basically freeze up so no, I cannot use it right now. In fact, in the 18 days I have had it, I have used it for a total of 45 minutes. That is why I was so looking forward to getting the patch because I know it is a great plane and really do want to use it! Eric
July 18, 200322 yr Moderator Eric,<,I am not over-reacting to PMDG. I was just talking directly to Hugo.>>Well, your message was not addressed to Hugo and this is a public forum so I felt I had the right to reply.<>How much memory do you have? 512Mb with an adequate page file (XP) or swap file (Win9x) will be sufficient for this aircraft. Anything less and it will struggle but this applies to FS2002 generally. Why not post your system spec and let's see if we can make this a more constructive thread?<>You're not alone in wanting the patch - we ALL want it but if PMDG rush it out and it doesn't correct all the known issues just imagine how some people will react to that! The knives would be out wouldn't they?Cheers, Ray (Cheshire, England). July 18, 200322 yr Thanks Robert for the update really appreciated, I'll guess the workload is huge with all the majors and minors...But take your time because a great correct working patch is preferable then a fast patch after patch :((I know working on an IT department and programming André
