September 28, 200817 yr great news!just one small question. i want to pick up my lovely md11 in the states and then fly it here to germany. i know you guys are from different places, but what would you call your "home base" or the home airport of pmdg? in the shop it says something about Sparks, Nevada. So would then be rheno/Tahoe International the right airport to start the first delivery flight?regards, chrjs(christopher volle) Regards, Chris Volle i7700k @ 4,7, 32gb ram, Win10, MSI GTX1070.

September 28, 200817 yr Hello, I have only been Following the Last 9 Months and look forward to seeing the MD11 give birth so to speak. Has there been anymore on the PDF manuals. I am working on making the printed manuals my Birthday present since today is my B-Day. Good luck on th erest and good luck with FS9 version as well. Although it is still taking some time to do so.It is still very possible even though today is the day.Thank YouCapt. September 28, 200817 yr Chris,How about this:?The real ones were build at Long Beach, CAA direct flight from there into Germany could easy be done.Regards,Harry
September 28, 200817 yr you're right, i thought about that too, but i guess there's quite a lot of traffic around LA, so when i screw up on the first flight everybody will see it... ;-p maybe i can start at the PMDG home base with house colors, flying to long beach to get the paint job (lufthansa cargo!) done and then hop over the pond...you see, i'm getting really excited!chrjs Regards, Chris Volle i7700k @ 4,7, 32gb ram, Win10, MSI GTX1070.
September 28, 200817 yr Great news! Credit card at the ready.I think you made the right decision in targeting the FSX platform first and then worrying about the FS9 version after. AirSimmer should follow your initiative and release the FSX A320 first. Seems like their product will never see the light of day. Will you be able to release manuals early? I'd like to get some reading in before I try and fly it. Matthew S
September 28, 200817 yr Very good news! I'm looking forward to thoroughly testing the FMC to see if it matches the real MD-11... Should be fun :)Bryan Gandallhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/pmdg_trijet.jpg

September 29, 200817 yr >Great news!>I'm patient...for I'm an FS9'r. :-lol >Best regards! ;-)Hi Pedro, So am I!!! Am waiting for the FS9 release as I do not fly FsX like many in the forum. Also one last thing is that I live here in Singapore and do not have a credit card. The only way is to walk into a shop here in Sim Lim Square and buy it on DVD. Is AEROSOFT still going to be the publisher for this MD-11 title? Are you going to release it in 2 separate batches on DVD(ie one for FS9 and the other or FsX)? Saw from some of the threads about people commenting on the "weather radar". PMDG commented that the weather engine in FS is not accurate at all hence they do not add the WX radar in. It is really a pity as when I fly this bird, the only obvious thing that I feel that is missing in front of me is the weather radar. Since the WX radar is desired by some and not requested by others, maybe you could have an option in the PMDG menu that can turn it off for those who want to have "realism" and the rest of us who just want it to look like the real ND with the different colour bands on it can turn it on. Also do not forget about the PMDG B744 as well. The next patch prehaps? Once last thing is that when I was flying the B744 last night, I realised that the GPWS are not really that accurate after all. For example you set the DH to 200 feet on the landing. However when you are approaching the decision height, you cannot hear "APPROACHING DECISION HEIGHT" the "DECIDE" or "MIMUMUMS", as the "MIMINUMS" call out will be also together with "200". This something that the LEVEL D B767 did as then it hits 200 feel RA, the computer will call "MINIMUMS" and the 200 RA call out will be overriden. How about that Mr. PMDG?Best regards,Darren Liew
