August 24, 200223 yr Yep we definitely need JFK. Other cool "neglected" airports could be Beijing Capital. Nice airport. Or..the main hub for Northwest, or how about Toronto B. Pearson. Just suggestions since I would to see more beautiful airports like PHNL. Cheers

August 24, 200223 yr Mathijs,I was wondering if you were planning to do any detailed mesh for any other parts of the world. Like Australia for instance. It is sadly left out by may payware authors probably because of the relatively small population, but may forget the populous is quite afluent .Cheers and thanks for some great products.Chris Porter:-outtaPerthWestern Australiahttp://www.fsd-international.com/images/FSD_beta_tester.jpg
FSD Aircraft "Around the world" flight. Now at EGPE (Inverness) United Kingdom

"I drive way too fast to worry about cholesterol."
Intel Pentium IV 2.26GHz(533)512K L2 Cache NorthwoodIntel D850EMV2-LAN P4 (533MHz FSB)Kingston/Samsung 256MB PC-800 RAMBUS, x 2 (512Mb)MSI-8872 GeForce4 Titanium 4600 128MB DDRPioneer 16x DVD , 40x CD-ROM Tray Load ATA 66Hyundai -ImageQuest P910+, 19" Multi-Scan Digital MonitorIBM Deskstar 60GXP, 60GB HDD IDEAOpen QF50 Midi ATX Case with 300W P4 ATX Power SupplyHercules Game Theater XP, 6.1 speakers Dolby Core i7 3820 | Asus P9X79-DELUX SLI M/b | 32GB Corsair DDR3 1600Mhz RAM | DeepCool Gemmaxx CoolernVidia GTX580 1536MB GDDR3 Video | ASUS MW221u 21" WS LCD2 x Kingston V300 240gb SSD RAID for OS and FSX | 2 x Seagate Barracuda 1Tb SATA HD's in RAID | 1 x 1Tb ext b/up driveAntec P193 Case | Corsair 1000W PSU | MS Win 7 Professional 64 BitMy website and aviation photo gallery - www.christopherbporter.com

August 24, 200223 yr Yea, I got to say that KJFK has got to be the biggest hole right now in add on scenery. A good KJFK from Lago would let the whole company take a couple weeks off with the amount of money that would flow in!! The thing is, nobody has it in the works for release. The first company that comes out with a really good quality KJFK stands to make alot of money. Everybody in the FS world knows this aiport. Eric
August 25, 200223 yr I recall several weeks ago that one person was willing to do JFK although he doesn't have Gmax experience but he was willing to learn.
August 25, 200223 yr Calm down, keep cool, Sorry, Ok Ok yeah it's ok. :-lol Made a slip in reading... lolCheers! :-wavehttp://members.lycos.co.uk/fs2k2/avsim/sig.jpg... under short final 25L # 99744757
August 25, 200223 yr Author Many have already expressed their preference for JFK. I would like to add my vote. New York is a spectacular area in FS but the default JFK looks awful. The old Wilco scenery (Airport 2000 vol.1)doesn't work well in FS 2002. Newark has been done by Simflyers and for La Guardia there is the excellent freeware by Shehryar Ansari. I'm sure a good JFK would be very popular indeed!Regards, Martijn
August 25, 200223 yr >North american scenery seems to be the most neglected. It >seems all of Europe is covered with 3rd party add-ons. I >would purchase any north american scenery.. I believe that is because most commercial add-on makers are in Europe. It used to be a almost completely European industry but in the last years this seems to be changing a bit.Mathijs KokLAGO
August 25, 200223 yr >How about KSFO? It very hard to get good data on this airport. After the Sept 11th this is a real problem in the USA. I can get onto almost any European airport but in the US things are different.Btw, you got message 100, tell me what product code I can send you!!!Mathijs

On how many DVD's would you like your Australian Mesh:-) Man , that is a massive and empty coutry. We'll never make the investment pay. I could beat around the bush for a while, but that's the cleam fact.Freeware is the only way to go there.Mathijs KokLAGO
August 25, 200223 yr >could be Beijing Capital. Nice airport. Or..the main hub for >Northwest, or how about Toronto B. Pearson. Just suggestions I checked our database and in all those years we only sold just under 50 products to people in that country. As people tend to buy scenery around their own region or airports they go to often, I am pretty sure that Beijing is out of the question.Again, economics...Mathijs
August 25, 200223 yr Thanks, Mathijs.I really appreciate your kind offer from this long time customer, and I'll take - PHNL! While I usually fly in the 1960's, I have several friends who lived in Hawaii and we often enjoy flying in the islands "today". This will make a great addition.I'd just like to say what an excellent company I think LAGO is, and that they are one of the most responsive and responsible FS companies I've ever encountered. And Mathijs is the best of the best.I've emailed you about the details. Thanks again,-- Tom GibsonCalifornia Classic Propliners: http://www.calclassic.com/Cal Classic Alco Page: http://www.calclassic.com/alco/Freeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.com/ San Diego Model RR Museum: http://www.sdmodelrailroadm.com/Drop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___ Tom Gibson CalClassic Propliner Page
