October 24, 200619 yr "there is no performance boost by not having a VC" WOW! That's a first for me. Every plane I own gets an FPS boost by not having a VC running. I assume hat would be that would be the case for this plane also. What's going on?? :-eek Mike
October 24, 200619 yr Commercial Member Let me clear up a couple of items.1) The Beechjet/Hawker 1.5 does have a TCAS display system. No, there's not a giant glowing button that says TCAS. It is accurately modeled based on the real world avionics in the aircraft.2) The Beechjet/Hawker 1.5 has accurate PFD and MFD displays based on the real world aircraft's avionics systems.I understand that you are disappointed with it's performance on your system. However, I feel you're being unfair in your rather public rebuke of our product and our efforts."Is it assumed people are satisfied because their nice enough not to say anything or is there somewhere I can read testaments to this wonderful new addition to Eaglesoft's stable??? :-roll"Calling people liars, even if the actual word isn't used, is simply uncalled for. "I really would like to know just how many people running a system under 3gigs think this add-on runs as well as your Cirrus or PMDG's 744 (which is way more complicated by the way)..."It is not always the CPU that is the issue. Simply 'rem-out' (i.e. install /// before the VC sections; Do Not Delete Them) the VC sections of the panel.cfg.Personally I do this is many of my aircraft, but it is typically to remove the *2D* panel from showing up, as I only fly in VC ;)

Overall, I'm very satisfied with this update. It IS an update, not a completely redone version. So my "testament" is that I am satisfied. Performance is no issue with/on my system. Customer support at Eaglesoft is, as usual, very good and very quick. ricardo
October 24, 200619 yr Chris, we do not reveal sales numbers or customer names so you'll have to take our word for it. If you choose not to believe that we have many satisfied customers using our Beechjet/Hawker 1.5 Package in BOTH sim versions so be it, we will not attempt to convince you otherwise. The Eaglesoft Beechjet/Hawker 1.5 Package may not be for everyone and their setup but to be fair it IS running well for many others in BOTH sim versions! Please remember that no one is under obligation to purchase something that they neither wish to own or would be disatisfied with:-)The purpose of our response is to simply add a bit of balance to what is being said here...
October 24, 200619 yr im sorry but this is just not possible, when flying in the 2d panel, you are not using the VC, the textures and model of it are not being loaded.
October 24, 200619 yr Commercial Member >im sorry but this is just not possible, when flying in the 2d>panel, you are not using the VC, the textures and model of it>are not being loaded. The textures and model are not, however it's possible for the gauges to become activated. If the developer didn't take that into account with their gauge design, it is possible to have gauges rendering more than once, despite the additional ones are not physically visible. October 24, 200619 yr "im sorry but this is just not possible, when flying in the 2d panel, you are not using the VC, the textures and model of it are not being loaded." Ok, now you've really confused me. If the the textures and model are not being loaded, then that's less resources being used, hence an performance boost when flying 2D. On the ES CII, PMDG 737, PIC ERJ145, if I load the VC version vs the 2D version I can reduce the frame rates by around 10-15 fps. My data, (and to me common sense) indicates 2D is much less taxing on the system and improves frame rates. Mike
October 24, 200619 yr I like the option Eaglesoft chose with some of their other add-ons... There was an option not to have a 2D panel loaded. If everything is dedicated to the VC performance seems to increase a bit. I wonder how the Beechjet would do if there was a version that you could load that didn't include a 2D panel. October 24, 200619 yr "Calling people liars, even if the actual word isn't used, is simply uncalled for."How is my statement calling anyone a liar??? It is a very valid perception that if nothing is reported everything is fine. I actually think you and the rest of the ES gang did a good job. It's unfortunate you
October 24, 200619 yr Ricardo you have a nice machine. It almost looks FSX ready for at least 15-18FPS worth. I'm not sure if I would quilify this as the average FS9 type machine... :-)

If you are not satisfied with the performance, simply ask for your money back. No harm no foul. ricardo

October 24, 200619 yr Ron I was really looking forward to your updated Beechjet/Hawker so that is the real reason for my frustration. The one aircraft that was awesome in FS9 that needed an update was this aircraft (the Premier is holding it
