February 9, 200719 yr [email protected]. If you look under the FAQ link and click the MD-11 Setup link, there is a screen shot that shows the support info. I hope this helps. I still haven't gotten her yet, but am somewhat tempted. EDIT: Well as usual, I broke down for the heck of it. I haven't tried it yet, but may make a few adjustments to the cfg as mentioned above, as this seems to be a samll bugaboo of sort. Anyway, I will post back anything useful for anybody that may be interested as well. Have a good night folks.
February 9, 200719 yr As I mentioned above, however the only small bug I didn't see is my ability to pay attention as I type... (samll) Man, I gotta stop burning the candle at both ends.:-hmmm
February 9, 200719 yr Thanks 'moss1' for getting me the info. I emailed Sky Simulation with my list of bugs and pointed them to this thread.:-) FS2020 Alienware Aurora R11 10th Gen Intel Core i7 10700F - Windows 11 Home 32GB Ram NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super OC 16GB - Pimax Crystal Light VR
February 9, 200719 yr [email protected] came back undeliverable (twice, uppercase 'S' and lower case like on the website)... :-hang FS2020 Alienware Aurora R11 10th Gen Intel Core i7 10700F - Windows 11 Home 32GB Ram NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super OC 16GB - Pimax Crystal Light VR
February 9, 200719 yr Dillon, sorry to hear this. I just looked at that screen shot and it matches the link, so I don't know what happened. By the way, they changed the FAQ page again, and now added something on the autoflight fuction I believe. I didn't read it through yet.
February 9, 200719 yr Their still not addressing the GS problem on approach. It would be nice if they could be contacted... I'd also like to loose one of the default GPS screens (their both tied together). Their a huge framerate drain especially in clouds... February 10, 200719 yr Hello ,can`t no more understand your GPS probsAfter i made my above FDE changes my probsare gone Flys the GS now pretty wellAnother thing i am thinking is;Do you set on NAV/RAD pagethe Standby Radio to the propper NAV 1 frequenzThere are two frequenzes the upper is for Nav 1 - GS ( with the course near )The under you have to set with the mouse and clickleft from it to set it in the upper field ( near the course )than you have to set the course, too.Just click on the course you see - or + to set em.Maybe this have to do with your probs because after my FDE settingsthe AC should catch the GS pretty fine.....cheerspmpilot
February 10, 200719 yr I'll try it again and see what I get... Thanks again 'pmpilot' for the suggestions. As far as the GPS problem, this add-on is running two default GPS displays in the background on the ND screens for the pilot and co-pilot. Everyone knows the GPS screen can be a framerate drain when active. The route can still be displayed on the gauge without the GPS being present in the background (look to the VAN's 717 as an example of this). February 10, 200719 yr So has any found a procedure to start the engines? I can start the APU, and spool up the engines, which usually get to 12% N1 and not any higher. Sometimes I get lucky and somehow get them to 20% after which they actually start. After much frantic clicking I even got all three of them to start one time, but next the radio volume seems to be turned down all the way and there is no button in the FSX version to turn in up, leaving me with no communications. The manual doesn't include any procedure how to startup or do anything. The checklists don't work.Anybody found out how to fly this plane?
February 11, 200719 yr One interesting problem I have been experiencing is, when I go to start the takeoff run, I get a stabilizer warning, so then I trim up unrealistcally until it goes off, however after leaving the runway, no matter what speed (this AC seems to need alot of speed beyond normal) Lift never really happens as I stall with nose up attitude like the Airfrance airbus crash I'm sure most have seen over the years that went into the woods. The plane seems to always want to nose dive too, no matter what I am trimmed at. I haven't crashed an aircraft simming in many, many years until now. Any suggestions? I personally don't care for the FDE of this plane the way it is now. It almost feels like your flying a small GA in ways I can't describe. If I can get this worked out, It can be a nice addition to the hanger. EDIT: I made the adjustments as mentioned. It does help with takeoff and trim function, but the autopilot does not work properly. It looses VS settings. The FDE definitly needs work, The plane responds way too much. I would compare it to a light prop aircraft, not a heavy aircraft. Hopefully this can be corrected. Anyway, I wanted to share my experience. I think after an update by Skysim, She'll be just fine.
February 11, 200719 yr "this AC seems to need alot of speed beyond normal"Check your fuel load. I always adjust because the default load is grossly overweight... February 12, 200719 yr >"this AC seems to need alot of speed beyond normal">>Check your fuel load. I always adjust because the default>load is grossly overweight...You'd be better off just editing the cfg to change the default load to something reasonable instead of fixing it every flight, wouldn't you?
February 12, 200719 yr Sounds like a better idea to me Dan... :-)I'm really starting to get frustrated with Sky Sim's missing in action support. We may have another lemon on our hands. I can give developers a pass as long as they support their products but Sky Sim seems to be ducking direct contact... :-boom FS2020 Alienware Aurora R11 10th Gen Intel Core i7 10700F - Windows 11 Home 32GB Ram NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super OC 16GB - Pimax Crystal Light VR

If no response is forthcoming pretty soon, however, I agree that things won't look good.
February 12, 200719 yr HelloThey are not a new outfit as such, I have owened their 717 for a couple of years now.The 717 uses the same gauges and from the look of the screenshots the same systems FMC ect even the same center post graphic in the 2D panel. When they were part of vans airco the support was totally none existant.Dont hold your breath for support on this one.
