Pmdg 737 Ngx Wish List

Featured Replies

Alright, no one has mentioned the feature I am most looking forward to: AIRINC424 capable FMS including at least 12 of the standard legs including RF (Radius to Fix). Gotta have realistic RNP0.3 navigation for RNP approaches, complete with all the real world implementations that satisfy FAA RNP criterial (e.g., cross track error indication for the pilot).I hope the navdata/sidstar data files are in a standard format that can be customized by the likes of Terry Yingling, Steve Bell or myself. I can work with xml, but I wonder what the FAA provides when you subscribe to their National Flight Database... I will subscribe to this ($180/yr) when we go to AIRINC424 but I want to be able to easily process the raw data in to the 737NG format whatever that turns out to be.

Hi, additional to the NG 2.0 I would like to see the MD-11 and the 747 being updated to ARINC 424 compatibility. Jan-Paul Schuchna

As another user said. One thing that is reaaaaaly on my wish list, is an interface with winds aloft data either via 3rd party or internal MS Jepp data. It would really rock. It would rock even more if it could be made compatible with your range of long haulers !Xander

Some offsets for the various annunciators, MCP LEDs and MCP digits would be great as well for the customers owning Opencockpits hardware.Robert Randazzo mentioned the possible development of an SDK for the NGX in another post. Let's hope plans haven't changed since then...Cheers,Sylvain

Bruno, indeed I have seen that DVD. In fact the first flight WJA168 YYC-YVR was filmed back when I still worked on the ramp here at WJA. I was the ramp lead for that flight, and can be heard communicating to the flightcrew for the pushback and start. :(. What approach were you using, 99% of the time it should be runway 15, as thats a run of the mill standard ILS approach. 33 is where it gets interesting if you dont have the RNP approaches :)
Hi movie star ! :(It was indeed a run of the mill standard ILS 15 approach but after reading you mail l looked into the matter again and found ILS 15 at Kelowna was completely messed up in my system. After correcting the problem with AFCAD, I must admit it is much easier ! :(Cheers,BrunoPS : I also bought the Westjet Boeing 737-700 DVD but haven't watched it yet. But the -600 one is really interesting
