September 6, 200916 yr hi everyone, i feel justified in making this point, although it will probably be overlooked due to the posts concerning the J41 with all the complaints about it real or otherwise. it seems strange to me that PMDG could produce such a complex aircraft like the J41 in apparenty double quick time, whereas we are constantly being told to be patient for the release of the 737ng2 which has been on the go for an age. i feel the J41 is a distraction for the time being in the hope that the 737ng2 lovers fs9 and fsx will keep quiet. the developers of the 737ng2 must be taking dancing lessons in between times - slow slow quick quick slow. richard welsh Richard Welsh
September 6, 200916 yr I don't think that anyone besides PMDG knows how long the J41 was being developed. Also the J41 was a technology development tool and showcase to see how far they could go with the 737. At least they don't delete every post about it like other developers. Quick note, just don't talk about the big brother, the one with the all sevens. They will delete that. Brandon

This is actually a curse and a blessing. We're hoping when he returns he will have infiltrated the headquarters of the Supreme Division of Science of Planet X, and return with new technology which will allow us to put weather radar into the new NG.2) Because of a world-wide conspiracy, which originated in the remote regions of Mongolia in 1973 during the last faked moon landing, to undermine any advancement in flight simulation, we have been forced to work in underground bunkers, and communicate with baked beans, encoded with cylon crystals. Needless to say, this is making things very difficult. Finally, we need to keep those who want the NG2 quiet, for if they reveal the world's desire for the ultimate NG simulation to the Platheos soldiers in the Xyron Nebula, it could result in the complete global destruction of the worldwide banana crop, which sadly, would endanger the Carribean Sasquatch. September 6, 200916 yr I hate it when that happens! LOL! Hope painter pete was able to avoid anal probing :(If the ngx is anything like the j41 it will be worth the wait! Quality takes time. September 6, 200916 yr the best for this is either their old 737 whose VC is lackingReally? I think it is still one of the best VCs around - I'd even go so far as to say that it's better, in my opinion, than the 747-400.Iain Smith

September 6, 200916 yr Oh, Iain, you ain't seen nothin' yet.....Hi Vin - Love the J41! Yes the technology is quite impressive, the frames I get are locked at 28FPS at CYVR with traffic, although I have not tried it with a weather program as of yet. I listen to Coast to Coast AM with George Noory when I work nights and I have to tell you that is news to me regarding Pete... hope he is well and will return soon.DitchDigger hit the nail on the head, quite a way to develop and introduce new technology and I was wondering if in the future with this new-found technology if you would consider re-doing the 747X & MD11 VC's and sell it as an add-on. Looking forward to the NG and the Bus. \Robert Hamlich/

Looking forward to the NG and the Bus.Robert. My specs. are pretty much the same as your #1 rig and I run rex, gex, ftx. and at cyvr i'm getting about the same frames. Rex has absolutely no impact on my system and looks really really good!! If you don't have Rex, get it! worth every penny! Cheers from poco! September 6, 200916 yr Redoing the VCs of the MD-11 and 747 would be great. Just curiosity here, but would that be a big undertaking? Brandon
September 6, 200916 yr THE REASON IS VERY EASY.the star prodcut of PMDG is the 737. they are waiting for the best moment to lunch it. now they don
