June 13, 200322 yr Now that FS2004 has gone gold, is there any chance that AVSIM can get hold of a "gold" copy to do a preview? We sure are itching to know more about this product. AVSIM had a full preview of FS2002 months before its release. Why are we not getting one with FS2004?Robb
June 14, 200322 yr Going gold well before distribution to stores will allow plenty of time for the AVSIMs of the world to compile comprehensive reviews in time for release. http://brianc.vip.warped.com/kpwk_sig.gif

June 14, 200322 yr >mmm im a little confused why we have to wait so long if its>going gold now? shouldnt it be out in 2 weeks??>ciao!>Brian SBrian,Exactly!!!!!!!! I have heard that MS can produce 25000 CDs a day and can package as many at their facility so it would seem if they started this Monday and did a 10 day run they would would I think have enough to satisfy those of us who are salivating at the lips.I think it could be in the stores by July 4th if there was a good effort put into it.I to wonder how many copys of 2002 MS has sold to date.
June 16, 200322 yr Come on Tom. I'm thinking (If I were you) that reviewing FS2004 would have to take a back seat to my own enjoyemnt of this incredible sim. I bet you are having a ball! I would be.Robb
June 16, 200322 yr From what i recall of previous msfs releases...they sometimes started showing up on shelves within DAYS of the gold announcement, no?Dave Dave Kalin Excel Classes Computer Lessons
June 16, 200322 yr Surely the beta testers will be able to plant pictures and give impressions when they get their Gold copies.....they are free of their NDAs then arent they?So there should be enough baiting from them ;-). I would imagine a full review would take a few weeks to prepare by which time........Peter
