September 11, 200916 yr Hello AllKDEN Denver has vanished from FS9.If I try to select Denver from the GO TO AIRPORT option i get the message "do not use"I discovered this when I created a flightplan to KDEN tonight.Whilst on route I entered kden into the gps to get ILS frequency for the runway, FS9 locked and had to be shutdown.I reloaded the flt courtesy of AUTOSAVE and tried again to enter kden into the GPS but this time I noticed the same message in the GPS "do not use".Finally as I flew over KDEN I noticed no bulidings, terminals, hangers etc just the runways outlined and that was it.Any ideas as to what is going on?It seems somehow the scenery for this airport has been removed.I don't know why this has happened its another great FLT SIM mysterious mystery.cheers ANDY

September 12, 200916 yr Author Hello JoeI have no addons for that area, and the denver.bgl is in NAMC\Scenery as you describe.Very strange. Thanks AndyHello againI have found the cause of the problem.I installed a package from Californian Classics that replicated airfields in that area in the 1960s I believe, (XDEN stapleton ) replaced the default KDEN which was of course not built at that time.I think its the original KDEN AFCAD I need.Anyway at least i know what's going on now.cheers Andy
September 12, 200916 yr Author KDEN has been restored.I t was just a matter of deactivating the California classics XDEN scenery in the scenery library and re starting FS9.If i wish to time travel backwards to the fifties I just reverse the process again.cheers ANDY
September 12, 200916 yr Moderator That was likely explained in the readme that no one reads... :( I'm wondering if more people would open up the readme's if they were named something like pornsites.txt or something... :( In any event, I'm glad you found your missing KEDN! It had to be frightening to begin an approach, and find only an empty cow pasture or whatever instead of a nice, long runway... :( Fr. September 13, 200916 yr Author HelloApologies to all.I must admit at the time of the post I had partaken of ale and was a tad merry.I hope I haven't offended the fair folks of Denver. And yes it was in the readme (i did read it at the time HOORAH!but promptly forgot it BOO!)As to porn ,i am far to British and repressed for that sort of thing.Cheers to all.AndyPS I actually took a flt from KDEN to KTUS just to make sure the everything was okay at the restored Denver ,and it was. :( PPS could somebody from over there tell me over here if meteor crater is anywhere near Charles Lindbergh regional(I think it was called)Arizona I noticed a neat round depression in that area on my flt,and while it did not QUITE match the majesty and spectacle of the original,I reckon it was MC.

September 13, 200916 yr And if you ever get out that way and like the open road, keep heading east. The drive through to Albuquerque is breath taking. Even better is the drive between Santa Rosa, Tucumcari, through to Amarillo. It has to be one of the most spectacular drives on this planet :)Mark
