I hear it's fantastic, and the youtube videos make it look impressive. I love proper systems, and this thing looks to deliver there.Anyone using it? I'm planning on making the purchase tomorrow...

In my opinion one of the best add-ons for fs ever. Well worth the money!!

I think it is one of the best addons out there as well. I would also suggest getting the Alphasim Enterprise as well to go with it.

It is the best military plane period. It might be one of the best airplanes in all catagories.

Better than Aerialfoundry F-18? Where can I get repaints for VRS F-18?

It's a great plane, inside and out. Beautiful modelling, great flight dynamics, great system simulation... Certainly the best fighter simulation available for FS2004. Certainly the best I know.

Yeah it is better than the Aerialfoundry F-18. It is definitely not a jump in and fly airplane. You have to learn what to do before you can just go flying. It is not so complicated that you cant learn it in a short amount a time. Also you can lock on to AI aircraft and simulate shooting them down you can simulate air to air refueling from any AI aircraft. You can also simulate air to ground by locking on and bombing VOR's. It is quite a nice add-on and hopefully people will buy it and they will continue development and maybe an F model will follow.

Looks like I'll give this one a go, then. Thanks everyone. Maybe AVSIM should cover this aircraft in a review? Reviews have been few and far between lately.

They did review it: http://www.avsim.com/pages/0609/VRS/F18.htmBud

I'm still hoping to see the FSX release for the Super Hornet. The VRS website still advertises Coming Soon. I'm wondering, if I buy the FS9 version and copy it over to my FSX will there be any significant issues? I am already running a few FS9 aircraft in FSX with minor to no problems.

The F model would be nice. It has a different appeal to my eye than the E.

Yes all these things are cool! Can't wait till my holidays! Next thursday, got exams till then! You guys know any software where we can install and play multiplayer with good lookinh planes, not like squawkbox and vatsim etc. I have ibnet (which vUSN use), but don't know how to use it...Apparently it's good. Any servers etc? Or will we ultimately have to join vUSN for multiplayer with good looking planes?
