Repaint Request

Hi Jim,many thanks for your repaint! I'm very happy with it.There's only one thing I'd like to suggest: the color of "discover the sky", of "A!ps" and the exclamation mark on the tail should be dark blue, as you can see in this picture that shows the real colors of the aircraft http://www.airalps.at/images/jpeg/pictureg..._inair2_med.jpgThanks again, bye!Michael Tais

Hi MichaelNot a problem, if you give me an hour or two I will post the link for the update.Jim Hodkinson (who needs glasses)

Hi MichaelMy apologies for the delay, all my fault, well some was due to FileFront acting a bit funky.Anyway I revisited the Alps repaint, and made the corrections requested, I also noted a few of my own such as the under wing registration being dark blue, along with the door and emergency exit surrounds, in addition I noticed that some but not all of the aircraft have a small air ! Alps logo to the side of the passenger entrance, so I have added these updates as well I hope you don

Great, Jim!I downloaded the livery without problems on filefront. This will be my favorite livery for the J41, because it's the olny airline that serves my hometown's airport: LIPB - Bolzano, ItalyIt's a very challenging airport to fly to, surrounded by mountains that make landings very interesting, especially if you fly with the J41!If you are interested in this airport, you can find the charts here: http://www.antoniogolfari.it/maps/LIPB.zipThanks again, Jim, have a good time!Michael Tais

Hi MichaelIts good to hear that you had no problems downloading the files, I have no idea what has been the problem with FileFront recently, but you got them that

You do some fantastic work Jim, fast too. When I attempted repainting the MD-11 a couple times it took me aaaages. Though I have never been all that good at photoshop. Is there any chance at some point you could do a REX Regional express livery on the J41? REX never used a J41 to my knowledge but the Saab 340 they have it on should fit the J41 pretty well.I feel a little guity requesting it but if you're willing please take your time, I'm in no rush, I was planning in attempting it myself but I don't think it will turn out very well. If you don't want to please say so I don't mind. :(Heres a exampler205206_7%38%30347.jpgFeel free to use any registration, thanks. :(http://www.rex.com.au/PhotoGallery/PhotoGa...w=1&site=MC

Hi JayNo need to feel guilty, I have to admit it looks like an interesting scheme.Leave it with me, and let me see what I can come up with.Take care, and back as soon as I have something.Jim HodkinsonP.S.If you were thinking of doing repaints, you should have a look at the tutorial that has just been released by Dan Brunier (Turbine777), it is in the PMDG General Section.

Thanks a lot, no need to rush on my behalf though. :( and thanks for the heads up on the tut, I'll check it out.

Take care, and as always, if there is anything you need changing or even another request, just let me know and I will try my best to help.Jim Hodkinson
Hi Jim,I realized, that even the word A!ps on the body of the aircraft is dark blue, as seen on this picture: http://www.airalps.at/images/jpeg/pictureg.../back%20med.jpgMay I ask you to make this little correction, please? Many thanks again, bye!Michael Tais

Hi MichaelNot a problem, sorry for the delay, I must admit that it does get a little confusing when they seem to have a fifty fifty split between the company colours of the light blue, and the dark blue to match the tail logo, and if there is a fifty fifty chance of getting it right, then you will get it wrong nine times out of ten.Anyway enough of this waffle, here is the link to the updated files.http://www.filefront.com/15425893/ALPS_02D.zipHave fun.
