Repaint Request

Hi JayNot a problem, but are you sure, as the red as far as I have seen should be the same shade as the red in REX, I know that the photographs do on most occasions show it to be darker.Either way I have done a darker version, and you can always change it back with the existing one if you need / want to, here is the link to the files..http://www.filefront.com/15427843/REX_02.zipTake care, and have fun with the Jetstream@ ChrisHi ChrisI was thinking of doing the 747X in an Air New Zealand scheme, so I it would not be to far to go to add a Jetstream version as well, leave it with me for a while, and I will see what I can come up with.@ MichaelHi MichaelGreat to hear that everything downloaded without problems, and the repaint is OK, I will let you get back to your Alpine flying.Have fun.Jim Hodkinson

HI Jim thanks that sound good. I look forward to seeing how they turn out.thank youChris F

Sorry to be a pain Jim, I think the Rex blue represents the Australian flag which is a fair bit darker. If you sent me the photoshop paintkit file (with the decal layers) I can adjust them myself or if you don't want to do that (I understand) heres a rough sample of the colours I am looking for all the blues and reds4306414418_7e40310ebf_o.jpgOnce again sorry to be a pain, the fonts logos and locations are great (I don't think I could do the fonts). Thanks again

HEY JIMWow u work fast and thank you very much!! The only thing dats seems wrong would be the tail colour. The tail has two colours of blue/green. The lower part of the tail is the same colour as the lower pacific wave and the top half is the colour of the top pacific wave heres a picture 1207045.jpgthanks Chris

Hi ChrisNot a problem, I will update the files, I must admit though that the original photograph is of the all white tailplane, as are most all the photographs that I could get hold of, admittedly they were mainly DH aircraft.I will post the link to the file in the moring.Take care, and have funJim Hodkinson

thanks a lot Jim looks great!did i read write that you were going to do the Air New Zealand 747X for me to ?Thanks Chris

Hi 6ecThank you for those words, it is really appriciated, it is also people like yourself who take the time to thank and encourage others that make this community, thanks again.Hi ChrisGood to hear that we got there in the end, as for the 747X, I must be losing it, the original request I looked at was from the 747 section, and embarrassingly I have only just noticed that it was your post that I was referring to, damm I hate getting old.I have one more Jetstream to get out, and then it will be the RR ANZ 747, and if you have a particular registration in mind, just let me know.Take care, and have fun.Jim Hodkinson

Hi AlexanderAlthough I did start an Austrian Arrows repaint I never really got around to finishing her, you can however find a great version of the repaint made by Alexander Roithmair, here on the forum on http://forums1.avsim.net/index.php?showtop...tional+repaintsThe download link was still active as of today, and I really do not think that Alexander

Many Thanks, Jim.It seems I have missed that Thread around here. Of course, reinventing the wheel does not make any scense.thanks f
