Hi Jim,Was gonna have a go at doing some house colours myself, but I haven't really got the time (I did a semi-fictional one a few months ago). I think it's a shame there are no house colours available for the PMDG Jetstream 41 at the moment. Dunno if you'd fancy having a go, there's a few different ones to choose from (my personal favourite is the top one)Chris (廖傑英)1297214.jpgJetstream Prestwick house colours 1994-? Hi Russ and ChrisApologies for the delay in replying, to many painkillers recently. Now repaints, I was going to have a little break for a day or two, but seeing as they are for UK registrations, and they are good looking schemes I must admit, then it may not be today (the 30th), but I am reasonably confident that something can be done, how good that something is may be another matter, but lets see what I can come up with.Take care, back as soon as I can.Jim Hodkinson

Mr. Hodkinson. thanks for the quality repaints you have done for the J41. Would you please consider creating a Northwest Airlink and/or Continental Express repaint for the J41?Thanks,Gary Merka
There is already both of these. Just look around the beggining of this topic.

Hi RussAs you were first in line so to speak, I have had a go at the Blue Islands colour scheme and have uploaded the files for you to take for a spin to see if it is what you were after, and here is the download link..http://www.filefront.com/15459977/Blue_Islands_01.zipThe usual still holds, any problems, changes, or additions, just let me know and I will try my best to help if I can.Take care, and I hope it is what you were after.Jim HodkinsonP.S.Thanks hamoody, that saved me some typing, which is not my strongest point.

Hi ChrisAs I had a little more time than I though I would have, below is the link for the files for the BAe Cold Weather Test repaint, two things, one I could not find was a good photograph of her in good lighting, so I had to make my best guess as to the shade of blue used, two I have no idea what the text around the logo to the side of the main cabin entrance is but if you know can you let me know to and I will add it to the repaint, and if you think that the blue is to light, then just let me know and I will update the files, or indeed if you have anything else that you want changing, adding or modifying.Anyway to the important bit the link for the files

Thank you very much Jim, she looks t'rific! I don't think G-JMAC gained the Union Jack and CP logo by the door until she entered preservation a few years ago, so it's probably more accurate to depict her without those (and it saves you the hassle).G-PJRT and G-JMAC wore essentially the same colours from 93/94 onwards so you can use pictures of either to get an idea of the colours (the main difference being RT carried an additional Jetstream logo on her nose), I think the colours may be a little darker than you painted them, but then again that could be simple perception. Either way, she's probably faded a bit since she was first painted in '93.Nice work on the Jetstream logo (I can't imagine it was easy to draw), but the top streak is orange in reality (blue, red and orange being the colours of British Aerospace at the time). Along the same lines, the bottom stripe on the fuselage/tail should be orange too. See these pictures:http://www.flightglobal.com/airspace/media...rriot-hotel.jpgtail1.jpg

Finally we have a proper BAe house livery for the Jetstream 41 :( But you need to make the logo on the engine nacelles the same colour as the rest of the Jetstream logos :( , and the pattern of horizontal lines in the Jetstream logo should be darkish grey and white, rather than blue and white (sorry for not picking that one up before :( ). As far as I'm concerned, apart from that I'm happy with her now, she looks lovely, you've done an excellent job in no time at all! Sincerest thanks B) Would I be right in saying this is the first non-fictional request you've done on the J41? This scheme isn't the cold weather test livery btw, that's the one with the snowman on it, G-GCJL (I'm not so bothered about that scheme anyway, the one you've done is the best). This is just the normal Jetstream Prestwick house colours BAe used at the 1994 Farnborough Airshow. If you're a perfectionist there are a few things you could change, but they're not really noticeable unless you're comparing it to a photograph - however as you've been so kind as to paint her, I felt I should at least give her a thorough going over. The top blue curve is too steep between the bottom of the tail and rear most window (see: http://www.flightglobal.com/airspace/media...rriot-hotel.jpg and compare it with your screenshot, use the top-left corner of the cargo door as a reference point); reduce the size of Jetstream logo on the engine nacelles, maybe by 10% (they shouldn't infringe any rivets or panel lines); reduce size of Jetstream logo on nose by 15-20% (it should be noted I'm not sure when that was added, think it was after she was retired so it might not be correct B) although G-PJRT wore a logo on the nose); the 4 in 41 needs to be closed rather than open, the font looks right otherwise but could maybe do with being a tad thinner; for the tail reg, trying using a typeface like Blockscrhift fur Flugzeug (that's still not perfect but it is a closer match to whatever BAe used); the ends of the "streaks" in the Jetstream logo could be given a few extra jagged edges (see the previous image of the tail I posted, although no one will notice that unless they really zoom in).

Hi ChrisUpdatesAll the logos have had the colour changed and have been resized, but as for adding more

Once again you do fantastic work and so very fast too, I didn't even think about a house livery, much appreciated im%20Not%20Worthy.gif

Thank you Jay, it is very much appreciated.Jim Hodkinson

Mr Hodkinson,I take my hat off to you sir, an excellent job! She's a stunner and I'm going to thoroughly enjoy bumbling around the skies in her. Now I can fly her as BAe intended, instead of primer. I'll try and take a couple of nice piccies whilist listening to the News Quiz on BBC R4, but unfortunately my PC ain't up to much when it comes to running FSX lol. Many thanks,Chris (廖傑英)PS: Strangely, the font you used for the reg looks just like a slightly narrower Blockschrift f
