February 11, 201016 yr Thanks Jim,Take your time! Have you tried virtually landing the Jetstream at EGLC? I have, and the people at Millenium Dome got quite a scare... :( Kind regards,Nico
February 12, 201016 yr The Jetstream 41 is actually approved for London City operations. Dunno what special procedures they followed, and it may not be the best aircraft to tackle a steep approach but it's had approval since 1999 and Eastern Airways have been known to operate theirs in and out from time to time. ckyliu, proud supporter of ViaIntercity.com. i5 12400F, 32GB, RTX4070, more in "About me" on my profile.
February 12, 201016 yr Hi hamoodyIf this is the scheme that you are after (believe it or not I am not all that up to date with aircraft colour schemes), then here is the link for the files
February 12, 201016 yr Hi Jim,That's great! As for the reg, I don't really have a preference. :( Kind regards,Nico

I really didn't know that...It would be interesting to know how they do it... or I just really messed up my attempts, which of course is BY FAR the more likely :(Andrew Andrew Entwistle

February 12, 201016 yr Hi NicoI am a little bit early with this, but hey it has been a slow day.Anyway below is the download link for my attempt at the CityJet colour scheme, the usual always applies, any changes, additions or subtractions, just let me know and I will try my best to assist.http://www.filefront.com/15563619/CJR_01.zipI hope you enjoy your EGLC approaches in her, and make a better job of them than I have just attempted (done would have been the wrong word to use for what happened). As an aside, and I do not mean to hijack the discussion, but I knew that the J31 operated out of EGLC, as did the Fokker F70, but I thought that the J41 would have been in a similar situation as the Fokker F100, which to the best of my limited knowledge did not follow in her sisters footsteps as far as operating out of EGLC, but as Andrew says I also stand corrected on the J41 operations, thanks for the information.Jim Hodkinson@ hamoodyNot a problem, I will update her a soon as I can and be back with the download link for the updated files, I do have to be somewhere for a few hours in a short while, but it will be hopefully at the latest tonight.
February 12, 201016 yr Hi hamoodyBack sooner then I though, I have updated the files and the link below if for the new version, I hope she is what you were after.http://www.filefront.com/15565205/Delta_NC_02.zipTake care, and have fun.Jim Hodkinson

February 14, 201016 yr Hi Jim,Thanks for the great Cityjet repaint! I really enjoyed it this weekend and have succeeded in landing at EGLC in one piece! :( Whilst browsing through planepictures.net I found another repaint which might look good on the JS41, the FlyBe (Loganair) livery:http://www.planepictures.net/netshow.php?id=829653http://www.planepictures.net/netshow.php?id=740344Ofcourse, if this is not too hard and if you find the time...Kind regards,Nico
February 14, 201016 yr Hi NicoI am happy to hear that the CityJet is what you were after, and that you are now doing your EGLC approaches in her, I certainly hope they are better than my attempts at them, but that would not be difficult, as for the FlyBe scheme, I was actually going to do that one for my own use, for some short hops around the Scottish Islands, but I never seem to get the time for my own requests, do you know any good repainters I could ask.Seriously though, after I have cleared the decks of the repaints I have already in the pipeline form both here and elsewhere, I will get my repaint, sorry your repaint underway.Take care, and back as soon as I have something for you.Jim Hodkinson
February 16, 201016 yr Jim... great repaints you're putting out here...The offer still stands... you are ever over in our neck of the woods and a beer is on me! :(Knowing that the JS41 is officially licenced into and out of LCY rekindles the challenge to try it out... I really hammed it up the last time, would have blown at least one tyre, if not broken the undercarriage, had it been a real world landing... Swiss RJ85 video on YouTube comes to mind...I will be flying into and out of City in about 1 month... probably RJ85 in and E190 (hopefully...) out...Andrew Andrew Entwistle
