Hi ChrisI knew we would get there in the end, and I hope that you get a lot of fun out of flying her, thank you for the feedback it is appreciated, and I will let you into a secret my system is not exactly cutting edge either, but if you take your time setting up not just FSX but your also system, it can help tremendously with any performance issues. As for the font, I may well download it, I will just have to wait and see if I ever need it again.By the way, Jim will do nicely, every time I hear Mr Hodkinson, I look around for my dad.Take care, and have good flights.Jim Hodkinson

This is the best picture I managed to grab on my hop from BAe Warton to Humberside (not very good I know, but as I mentioned before, my laptop isn't too keen on FSX). Doesn't she look nice though? Took the liberty of adding the obligatory BAe logo and title. I've always been slightly mystified as to the origin of the BAe logo PMDG used in their thumbnail (looks like they based it off the BAE SYSTEMS logo but that's a bit like saying McDonnell-Douglas built the DC-8), I don't recall seeing it before, so I've added the logos as I think they should be.

Hello sir.Your repaints are all amazing, so I was wondering if you do repaints for other aircraft? Suchas, the PMDG B1900D or the FFS SAAB 340?

Hi HamoodyI know that you can download the paintkit for the 1900 from the PMDG web site, I have never done the 1900 or Saab because I do not have either of them, but I think I can find a willing (well maybe not so willing) volunteer to try out the 1900 if I have a go at one, as for the Saab I do not know of anybody that has that particular aircraft, and I think that the paintkit is not freely available, and to be frank without knowing somebody local that has the Saab, it would be next to impossible to do any repaints for her.So to answer your original question, do I do repaints for other aircraft the answer is yes, if I know somebody local to me that does not mind being a test subject for the repaint, or even better if I have the aircraft in question myself, which I do have a few, but mainly FSX.So I could have a go at the 1900 if you wish, but the Saab is another matter, even if I had the paintkit.By the way, there is no need for formalities Jim will do nicely.Sorry it is not better news.Jim Hodkinson

Hi JimI think that it would be great if you could do a repaint or two for the B1900D. If it is OK, I have 3 requests.1.) A northwest Airlink/Mesaba Airlines repaint in thier old Red colors, as seen on a saab 340 aircraft ( heres a linkt to a picturehttp://img10.imageshack.us/i/dsc07715n.jpg/)2.) Sandpiper Air, a fictional airline from the T.V series, wings (Picture..http://images.surclaro.com/Screenshots/FS2004/Sandpiper-N121PP.jpg)3.) And finally a Syrianair paint as you did for me with the J41. (picture.. http://www.skybird-ev.de/tour/shj/ykagb.jpg)By the way, dont feel that you need to do all of these repaints :).

Hi Let me have a look at what is involved, and how the paintkit works out, and I will get back as soon as possible.Just a heads up, but you know it would be a good idea to add you name to your posts, as not only is it a forum requirement, it does help to know who you are talking to, it also will stop the possibility of the post being deleted.Anyway take care, and back as soon as I have any news.Jim Hodkinson

Hi I am willing to give it a shot, but it may be a couple of days before I can get it started, as I have three 747 repaints, and an AS DHC2 BeaverX to finish, so unless I come to a grinding halt for some reason or other, then as I say it could be a day or two before I look into it, I can not see it being to much of a problem though (famous last words springs to mind here), so if you could leave it with me, or indeed if anybody has been reading the repaint tutorial in the forums general section and have decided they would like to put the theory into practice, then go for it, I will help to the fullest extent of my own beginners knowledge at any time.Failing that I will be back in touch as soon as I can.Take care, and have fun.Jim Hodkinson

would it be possible to have an Air Nelson repaint for the JS41 ?? please1111083.jpgThanks Chris
This would be nice :)Great work JimThanksBlake

Hi NicoIt may be a couple of days before I can get to it, but I can not forsee any problems, famous last words. If you can leave it with me, I will se what I can come up with, I would imagine the approach to EGLC could be lets say interesting in the Jetstream.Take care, and back when I have got something for you.Jim Hodkinson@ BlakeThank you for the complement, is the download link for this one inactive, I have to admit that as I do not download them I never check the status of the links, I suppose I should check them every now and again though.Let me know if you are having any problems.
