March 19, 201016 yr Hi folks,Is there a flight planning program that is flexible and capable of generating flight plans for PMDG products? Thanks,Eric Olson

March 20, 201016 yr I mainly fly in the US, I use Flight Aware to get the actual FAA filed route, Then go to Simroutes.com and select generate flightplan tab, and paste that route into the route box, then enter the departure and arrival airports. You can then compile to different addon programs, or aircraft. And it's free. March 22, 201016 yr There's also DANUR Flight Operations Centre (FOC). It's fairly advanced but in very much the style of a real dispatch program and it gives fairly accurate results plus does a lot of in-depth calculations that no other program does, such as decompression equal time points etc. It'd only be for the fairly hardcore flight planner though, in terms of its learning curve. I have got to say it is not without its fair share of irritating bugs - but it is very good. I tend to use it for long-rage flight planning, and for short-range I use FSBuild because it is quicker and you do not need ETPs on an hour long flight (plus its in-built 737-800 profile is right on the numbers - it gives the exact same numbers as a real flight plan I have).Cheers,Rudy
March 23, 201016 yr Its too bad there isn't a planner out there that will nail you fuel burns for you. Other then FS Build, which requires hours of work to make a performance file, which bye the way I CANNOT FIGURE OUT FOR THE LIFE OF ME!

April 2, 201016 yr I use TOPCAT and Flight Sim Commander. They work well creating a trip package that I refer to in-sim with pdf Kneeboard after converting everything into a pdf file. Jim Atkins
