March 27, 201016 yr I'd imagin S. California has much in common with Australia. Is that up for consideration?May look similar in some places but I wonder if this would translate into any practical advantages like reusing some of the texture sets. Considering their attention to detail that may not pan out. Michael J.
April 1, 201016 yr It is a Lancair IV-P, but for the two that guessed right, how could you tell it wasn't an ES/Columbia/Corvallis, short of trying to look up "VH-L..."?

April 1, 201016 yr >> No Northeast US? None of my money gets spent on Orbx. The way to "holding out hope" is to support Orbx in their current endeavors, Orbx may never be around to do NE if people have the attitude - unless this is my backyard I ain't buying... J van E already did a good job responding to this thought, but just a few quick ones...I do fully support Orbx in their endeavors with scenery creation. In fact, I wholeheartedly encourage them to do so... but speaking from a customer's standpoint, should I make a scenery purchase to improve a region which I might visit only once or twice a year in the sim? If I can't squeeze out the enjoyment that many others do from it then my purchase goes wasted, and I don't get $60 worth of enjoyment from it. I'm not judging the product and scenery as being somehow faulty or bad - dear lord no! It looks GORGEOUS. But since where I fly is just as important to me as how it looks, I can't justify a purchase until they work their way closer to my operational area. Some may not have that limitation - I do. (shrug) Anyway - I'm not trying to beat a dead horse. Once product roadmaps are set, they are tough to change even if they wanted to...and Orbx has some good logic in trying to link their work together to make a larger contiguous area. Their plate looks pretty full with the regions they want to do. I think my region got it's once-in-a-lifetime break when FlightScenery developed KPVD (and to a lesser degree, Grimshaw's KBOS). We'll see what the future brings!
