May 9, 201016 yr We've now extended the May Sale to *ALL* Orbx products for the rest of this month, meaning genuine 30-50% off all our products including PNW and the two US airports. No excuses now ! Real bargains here. AUS$20 off ymml. And those who want all of AUS get avalon SP2 DVD edition.... then just download the SP3 update from ORBX and you have all AUS states as per the SP3 edition + avalon airport for $99. A steal.
May 9, 201016 yr Wow! This is fantastic! I was on the fence for purchasing The New Brisbane because I'd also[and do] need Aust.Gold and that made it a bit to pricey for me.But NOW Aust.Gold half price!! and $10.00 US off Brisbane!!!.............Hello Australia!!!!!!!!!! :)
May 9, 201016 yr More good feedback, excellent! We are changing our DVD pricing to only pass on our actual production costs of the shrink-wrapped DVD (currently about AU$2-3 depending on volume), so that means we'll be offering the DVD versions without any real cost penalty. We're finding that it's unfair to penalise someone because have a limited internet bandwith, so let's make it more attactive to purchase the DVDs.That was a brilliant decision. It got my cash.My download speed is slow and this makes it practical. Thanks
May 9, 201016 yr Wow! This is fantastic! I was on the fence for purchasing The New Brisbane because I'd also[and do] need Aust.Gold and that made it a bit to pricey for me.I was in a similar position. I had Blue and Green, but many of the airports require Gold. Problem solved! Now I can start thinking about airports. Thank you, Orbx.
May 9, 201016 yr Great to see the discount extended to PNW addons.I've put my money where my mouth was - Darrington is being downloaded from FSStore right now. Paul Skol
May 10, 201016 yr We've now extended the May Sale to *ALL* Orbx products for the rest of this month, meaning genuine 30-50% off all our products including PNW and the two US airports.Time for another look . . .Noel Noel System: 9900X3D Noctua NH-D15 G2, MSI Pro 650-P WiFi, G.SKILL 64GB (2 x 32GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6000, WD NVMe 2Tb x 1, Sabrent NVMe 2Tb x 1, RTX 4090 FE, Corsair RM1000W PSU, Win11 Home, LG Ultra Curved Gsync Ultimate 3440x1440, Phanteks Enthoo Pro Case, TCA Boeing Edition Yoke & TQ, Cessna Trim Wheel, RTSS Framerate Limiter w/ Front Edge Sync. May 10, 201016 yr now I can't decide if I want to dive in and buy the whole AUS region as well as a handful of airports... or just stick to the 2 PNW airports. Well I'll see how much I can spend next week, probably leaning towards the 2 PNW airports. Thanks ORBX! Hopefully you guys with the extra money can push out PDX and SEA by this year, I guarantee a lot more purchases will come from that!
May 11, 201016 yr Wow, this is great news about the sale! I'm a little confused about which product(s) to buy to get Australia coverage. What, if anything, is the difference between the full-Australia SP2 DVD plus an airport (priced at 99.99 AUD) and the combined regions (total price ~100 AUD). Are they a later version? If so, is it possible to update the DVD? Obviously, if there's no disadvantage to the DVD versus the airports, I'll go for that (since I have a monthly download quota)--but if I have to download a big file to update the DVD scenery, maybe it's half dozen of one, six of the other. So what's the deal?At any rate, this is now a question of "how" rather than "if" for me. As others have said, I'm ready to put my money where my mouth is!James

There are only a few (< 10) of those left. There's no disadvantage to getting the SP2 DVD because we have a free upgrade to the full SP3 release on our website - http://ftxnow.com/support.htmlHowever, you can purchase the four regions individually now for the same total price, and they are all at SP3 level. Advantage? No need to wait for the DVD to be shipped and no shipping costs :)I'd also like to thank everyone for their fantastic support of this sale, we do appreciate your business! Cheers, John Venema

May 12, 201016 yr Commercial Member John, the price on the SP3 DVD now?NoelCurrently A$179, but will be discounted quite a bit from June 1st.The Australian dollar has taken a dive against the greenback this past week, so these sale prices are even better for US customers. Cheers, John Venema

Is it possible to purchase the extra green/gold/red versions at the discounted price?I live in the outback so downloading is my choice of delivery.EDIT: Nevermind I just found those files heavily discounted so I purchased them all along with YMML and YBBN. :)Thankyou!
May 13, 201016 yr Sorry for the delayed reply--thanks for clearing that up for me. I just bought all four regions separately (even with my limited bandwidth I can "afford" them at this stage in the month) plus Cessnock. Thanks for putting this great stuff within my price reach!James The SP2 DVD is old stock from 2009 when we first combined the four AU regions onto a single DVD.
