Imagine Sim LGA Update question

Featured Replies

Anyone have this scenery and installed the latest update? I can't get the jetways to show up. Buildings show up fine, but no jetways for planes.I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but still the same results. Im not losing any sleep over it as Im not crazy about their stuff to be honest. Also the ground textures look pretty blurry. I guess Im spolied by FSdreamteam, flytampa and ORBX stuff. Rob

Same here, I even tried their exclusion patch! no go! They don't even have a support forum to report it. I'll report it later when I get the chance!

Thanks

Me also - no jetways, and all the ground staff are framed by black rectangles.

Yea, I noticed the black rectangles also. Pitty. I wish fly tampa would do LGA.Rob

Try emailing Imaginesim? They seem very friendly when I emailed them, had an issue with the Flight1 installer not allowing me to use the reinstall function

I am just glad they fixed the lights issues. I didn't notice the jetway thing.

Scenery density needs to be Extremely Dense to see jetways. I just started up at KLGAv2 and with very dense, only had a couple jetways. I bumped the slider to Extremely Dense, and there were jetways all over the airport. Also, the Rectangles around the ground staff is fixed with the SP2 patch available on Imaginesim's site. It will actually remove the non-SP2 objects, most notably, the marshallers.

What is the list of fixes btw? Is it even worth updating?

Anyone got there KATL for FSX...hows the FPS and the acutal scenery is it worth it?

They really need to update San Juan for FSX. It looks horrible. The latest KLGA is much better than their first rendition.Looking forward to San Juan v.2. If anyone has input on Atlanta v.2 please share. I'm interested in this hub.

I have v2 ATL. The only thing I noticed from v1 is that now the approach lights look like CRAP. I would stick w/v1 if I were you.

I think they're overpriced, especially now that they are charging for each version. They seem to be more technically challenged than most scenery devs.I have Charlotte and it runs like a pig in FSX and doesn't look all that great.

I always run at Extremely Dense, but I don't see one single jetway.Neither do I see an SP2 patch on Imaginesim's site. There's nothing about it on the product page, nor in the FAQ's. Not to say that it's not there somewhere, but if it is, it's extremely well hidden.

That describes itself as an 'exclude patch' to deal with buildings encroaching onto the airport, nothing to do with black rectangles around ground staff.(Also, the page heading for that patch is "KCVG imaginesim image removal", which refers to Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International, not La Guardia, and is rather confusing. But probing even further, by looking for KCVG product updates, there is actually one that fixes black rectangles around ground staff at KCVG. But it says it is for KCVG only, rather than being a more general fix.)
